Well, he is Megaman, shouldn't he be able to "spam" his buster anyway?

actually the true Mega/X got limited shots and needs to get recharge at HQ

Much people dont`like the portriat with the black square, but i like this portrait and i remove the black square and look`s Nice the size are 120x140 un saludo :thumbsup:

Well, After testing this. I have one simple summary.

This may need some tweaking.



X-Buster CLNS is messed up big time, And can be shot infinitly, With No Escape, Even a Strong AI can't get out.

Also, Air Comboing and/or jumping from a launcher to start an air combo needs some modifications, As getting it to link is pure luck.

Aside from that, The sprites are good.

Keep working on him, It looks like it could be a great Character in the future.

Poncho's palettes made me want to mention this idea even more. Why not make X have different (read: specific) hypers dependent on which pal you chose...more specifically you could pick your fave ones from X1-X6 as you said that you are basing him on those games. But this is where I have a particular idea in mind: I'm suggesting that you do something like they did with Mega in the old 80s/90s cartoon...what mean is when he would take the abilities of another Master, there would be this large overlaying image of his buster with the color/pattern of the Master he is about to imitate that would then shrink down over the buster as his armor changes to the color of the Master. I don't know a better way of explaining it...wish I could find a vid of what I mean...maybe have this as his intro that changed him from his default Blue Bomber color to the color of the Master who's abilities he'll be using...or you could even allow the user to chose one before ever match (not round but before ever new fight) then he does that before that whole image thing before the match starts...just an idea. If anyone knows what I mean and can find a clip could you post it so that ChAoTiC can see what I mean?

hey since were running with ideals  :D  y not do this u no the parasite wip that biging developed, y not build X like that. U know give him a move were he steals powers so when he vs sum one he and steal there ability doing the battle. just thought i throw that out there with the other ideal flouting about. :-"

This is actually a good idea, though I would use either Splode's or XCB's Rogue as an example instead. One of those had where since it is impossible to code EVERY single character there is in Mugen into here power stealing ability, she comes with a set amount and they are chosen randomly if she steals from someone that DOESN'T have one of the abilities in here set library.

EXAMPLE: Rogue vs Terry Bogard. Since Rogue doesn't have an ability in her library to steal from Terry specifically, then she gets a random power up (Speed, Super Armor or Strength)...on top of that her abilities were chosen at random at the beginning of each round (I think) in this version of her. So for instance, in this fight against Terry, she would have Akuma's stolen ability set which include his Hadoukens and his Dive Kick (not sure of name of this particular move). Again if she kisses Terry she would get a random power up.

In X's case, I would say he gets a random Master's ability.

Well i think the best way to handle it is like this.

Since stealing the opponents ability make turn the fight in to an  unfair advantage. in the characters not in the code or dont have an ability then u get nothing. this attack (ability copy) should be treated as regular move and not have X built around it. he should be able to stand on his own with out the ability the X would in games at the start.

and as for the list off characters it should be set of easy so if sum1 wanted to add a character who wasnt in the original programing they can.

Fire
water
wind
earth
electricity
gravity
ice

Speed
defence
strangth

increased energy weapons (Up graded burster cannon)

should be in the programing cuz almost er1 fall under these categories and the Buster increase would be for people who use plain energy based attacks. But this Buster incease ideal is flawed cuz it could cause and unfair advatage so mayb add sum lag. X is stuned after shoting cause of the massive energy discharge. . . . . . .  :-@

nah... i guess making it a regular X,


its not actually fun to play with many power ups or what ever :-??
just give him the armors and he will be ok, no need for the weapons..

just like MvC, MegaMan he got 2 weapons, the Tornado Hold and the Leaf Shield,
Chaotic's X got a Z saber.. and thats unique but having the sword for a regular move
is not kinda fun. i think making it a hyper will look ok..

just give him the MvC Megaman style and thats it
