Sabu & RVD were awesome in those years in ECW. I miss those days too. All in the 90's era.

I can't stand Jeff hardy though. Not saying that he doesn't have skills, I just hate him !

I've gotta say Austin is actually quite skilled in wrestling. Now, you maybe thinking "um, no. He's a brawler". You gotta check out his old matches, Also some from 96 and ecw. He only came to ecw to wrestle in the first place back in the day. While everyone there except for malenko, benoit and eddie were all hardcore maniacs. His match with bret at Survivor Series 96 was one of his best. He displayed a lot techinque in the begining of the match. I would'nt say he was as finely tuned as bret, but even bret said austin was really good competition "skill wise". He just changed up his style to brawling in 97. It was what the fans wanted to see instead of to many wristlocks and headlocks.

I agree Austin actually did some real wrestling when was in ECW & had hair...lol When he first came into WWF he had some lame gimmick. I think he was the gamemaster or something like that. he was managed by The Million Dollar man. I'm actually glad they turned hm into what they did.

Ummmmmmmm......  No. Bret Hart & Mr Perfect are not my even favorite wrestlers. Actually Shawn Michaels is. Because every time he goes out there he puts on a hell of a performance. It's usually non stop action & then very high spots.

Don't twist my words. How many times did I mention that Demolition is my favorite tag team to this day. The Ultimate Warrior was my favorite back then. I'll never forget the first time I seen him. It was the saturday morning show & this nut case with makeup ran out & literally beat some ham & egger in like 5 seconds. Gorialla press drop & it was over. I began to watch every wrestling show in hopes that I would hear that first beat of music & watch this maniac run out to the ring, shake the ropes & destroy someone. Entertaining, yes. Wrestling skill, not so much. Probably the only one with less skill than the Warrior was Goldberg...lol

My comments were directed towards those people who were talking about " real " wrestling " The 80's were not it. Brawlers aren't real skilled wrestlers. I never considered Stone Cold a skilled wrestler. Great persona, awesome mic skils. but wrestling, not so much.

Steamboat was awesome. He was one of my favs back in the day. I liked one half of the rockers, i'll give you one guess who it was...lol

Oh, thought Demolition was only a favorite back then.

And Stone Cold is definitely a skilled wrestler.  Again, not a super TECHNICAL one.  Not a HIGH FLYING one.  But still skilled and entertaining.  His matches were a bit tired near the end of his run but, then again, he was wrestling with constant pain in his neck and frustrations with storylines being used.

Austin was known as the RINGMASTER, not Gamemaster, and his manager was Ted Dibiase.

I still can't see how anyone can compare the best wrestlers of today with the genius wrestlers from the 80s.  There just really is no comparison.

And as for Sabu, every single match I've seen of his involves a series of botches.  But maybe I've just been influenced by Botchamania.

I say the best tag team in the world right now has to be either The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelly and Chris Sabin) or The Kings of Wrestling (Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli). KoW are both incredible technical wrestlers, both are great at striking, and both are well versed in lucha. They're pretty much perfect. Probably one of the best tag teams ever.

I'd never seriously consider The Hardy Boyz or The Dudley Boyz as some of the best tag teams ever. Sure they held a bunch of titles, but as wrestlers, the Dudleys were never that great, Jeff Hardy isn't very good, and Matt Hardy is ok, but he lacks personality.

Best tag team of All time is Legion of Doom, and even they're tied for first place with Demolition (without crush).

As for the best tag team now, Miz and Morrison were tremendous as on screen characters. However The Gunz surpassed them by miles in wrestling.

What TNA needs to do is get Paul London and Kendrick back together and put them against The Gunz.

I can't stand everytime raw comes on, the bella twins ALWAYS around the host!! Man, it's like what is the purpose of them being in the wrestling business if they don't even compete. I hate how wwe does that with the divas. They have been doing that for years, but it got worse. That's what i respect about TNA knockouts, they are competitors and not always dancing around the ring with pretty little make-up on kissing up to the host. I'm just sayin' they should have more of a purpose than what they have now. Quit trying to be like the UFC girls that hold up fight cards, lol. I like competitors. And another thing, i don't like how they use gail kim either. She is my favorite diva and yet she's just there to make these none wrestling pretty girls look good. Or making her lose against someone like alicia fox!! Gail has been in the business a long time. These new chicks really need to step it up! Although i do like Maryse. And i'm tired of hornswoggle getting all this camera time!!

@bloodninja: LOL

Well,it seems that Ken Anderson(better known as his in-ring persona Mr.Kennedy on WWE) is about to sign with TNA very soon

Bad News for TNA fans, both Awesome Kong and Alissa Flash will be leaving the company

And for WWE fans...The Rock will come back to Monday Night Raw!
at least as a guest host for now,but he might actually take part of a storyline according to this interview with Sports Illustrated
http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2010/writers/jimmy_traina/01/21/dwayne-the-rock-johnson-talks-movies-wrestling/#ixzz0dHCJKhaT

And i wonder if JR will be back on the announce table by the Wrestlemania(he won't be at the Rumble sadly)
