Author Topic: New Exclusive Sonic Title for Wii Announced (Read 1524 times)

Okay, last time we got a new Sonic Game (Sonic 06'), the Wii had and exclusive title since 06 wasn't going to happen on the system (Sonic & Secret Rings)

Following the pattern a New Wii exclusive Sonic title has been revealed to complement Unleashed.

Last month, Nintendo power feature a silhouette of what seemed to be Sonic with... something. The picture below is the revealed photo as the cover of September's magizine which is already available to subscribers and is 100 percent legit, but I must warn you, most of you here will cry foul.

Consider yourselves warned.

EDIT: Having though on the matter, I have come to a conclusion:

This game is more than likely going to utilize the new WiiMotionPlus adaption for 1:1 sword fighting. You do realize what this means correct?

WE'RE THAT MUCH CLOSER TO A FULL ON LIGHTSABER DESIGNED GAME!

actually it might work when u think about it. i mean in brawl if u get the beam sword and do a running attack his attack is among the coolest imo. with that kind of running speed he might as well dawn a sword from now on. i hope sega realizes that a change to his outfit like this might just have to stick with him depending on the story

Yup, it's gameover for Sonic....the series is just dead now. Sega doesn't give a d@mn about their characters anymore, Sonic isn't what he used to be..*remembers 16-bit Sonic* They keep packing in new gimmicks, dumb characters and changing the gameplay from what it originally was suppose to be about "Speed!". The series needs a reboot and to get back to it's basics with just Sonic, Eggman and the fast intense speedy gameplay as the focus. Plus get rid of Sonic's voice...he should be mute. I want the feel of the Sega Genesis Sonic games back.....Old skool Sonic FTW!

I agree. Sonic for the DS was the only exceptional new game I've played after Sonic 3.

Note "Storybook Series". They're actually doing these Wii games with some sort of structure in mind.

I'll wait until passing judgement. But giving Sonic a sword doesn't seem like a bad idea. I mean, how much more crazy is Sonic in medieval times with a sword compared to Mario getting a water squirting backback cleaning mud and crud off of everything?

At least it's already established that Mario regularly uses different powerups and abilities and stuff to get work done.

you get to play as diff characters and it will use the new wii motion plus thing. and you can upgrade your wep and... well... just watch
