One key person missing, Spider-man! Does Activision still have the rights for him seeing as they are making Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions?

Won't be MvC without him. Hopefully Capcom will be able to get the rights to use him in this one game

I hated the music from mvc2, it was to slow and not that good.

Please take out the stupid characters for this game to make it great. It was no way in any shape form or fashion Serve-bot deserved to be in Marvel vs Capcom 2 as a single character he was taking up space, plus he was weak as hell. That could have been a spot for someone who actually deserved it.

Nah, Boneclaw Wolverine can stay, it was the other one that shouldnt have been there cuz that one was a waste of space. They need to add carnage, and if they can pull some strings I would like to see Dante from Dantes Inferno. They gotta add some ppl from the Onimusha series and maybe Megaman EXE from Onimusha Blade warriors, they definitely need to add some characters from that game to the MVC 3 roster.

After looking at that picture, (the one with the white background) I'm fully convinced that the female silhouette on the right just above Deadpool is Trish from DMC. Heck if you look closely at the arms, you can see the outline of those arm guards she has in DMC4.

i am so happy marvel decided to let capcom make a sequel o mvc2. i don't care if its 3d because i'm fine with sf4 graphics

i hope they keep the mind set they had for supersf4 to make a balanced roster, if they have to limit the characters to around 35-40 then i'd be ok with it as ling as the characters are awesome. we all now what happened in mvc2.....

i hope capcom doesn't take up most of their roster with street fighter characters like they usually do and add more title variety like powerstone, viewtiful joe, godhand, devilmaycry, megaman, rivalschools,strider, and plasma sword
i really hope viewtiful joe makes it in, he probably will since he was in tvc
this forum will probably be shutdown for a few weeks when the release comes but we can just play matches online

just thought I would mention a few of the Resident Evil series more powerful characters that could realisticly go toe to toe with Hulk at least for a while since chris is a RE character I just cant believe that they have matched hulk up with chris of all there characters that is just ridiculous in my opinion

Hey...now that it's been mentioned, that silhouette with the collar coulde be Roy from Rival Schools...then again I was thinking it's Wesker as if you look carefully you'll see that the image has glasses of some kind...as for the one with the sword, it could be a number of different Marvel characters: Blade, Ronin, Deadpool...and I was thinking that the one with the hood could also be Red Hood, or even better MOONKNIGHT! Since I think they may take out my favorite Cajun and all around X-men, Gambit, it would be kick butt if they instead gave me Moonknight. then looking at the one with the should things, I thought Super Skrull too, then I was like that could be Yellowjacket, that could be Prodigy, but then looking at the other image with the kinda blue shadows, you see his hands stretching so we can be pretty sure it's Super Skrull...and with the impact that Secret Invasion had, I wouldn't be surprised. Hmmm...actually now that I think of it, the hooded one could even be one of the Goblins...I have my doubts that they will use Frank again so soon for a game that's NOT related to the on he was just in as he is not quite a Capcom staple yet...so I think the shadow is someone else...also the one with the collar could also be Yukimura from Sengoku Basara Cross...or the one with the coat like Franks could be one of the other characters from SBX...I forget his name but he has a brown coat over like blue-green shirt or something. Those are my opinions so far...as for wants, well anyone else from Onimusha would be awesome...and Megaman EXE would be nice as well since they screwed us with stupid Volnut before

...I would like to see Zero return as well but PLEASE balance him out this time -.-' And of course Dante and/or Virgil please...from Capcom I would LOVE to see a revamped Gambit and Rogue with their CURRENT attires please, be nice to see Thor though if not we have an AWESOME Capcom-quality one in Mugen if you ask me so even if not I'm ok with it...would like to see a revamped Spidey as well...and if we MUST have Iceman again at least make him interesting...I swear he seemed boring and like they spent maybe 1.5 megs of memory when they made him before. And we need more Marvel females...Marrow was ok, but she hasn't even been seen in the comics in a few years...I think a Echo or Black Widow or even Spider-Woman or Arana (Spider-Girl...so to speak)...and balance Storm, Mags and Sentinel PLEASE! Anyway, enough of my ranting...these are just my opinions...

@ galactus & Kudos: think about it like this...it's like the Resident Evil heroes do in the RE games...they fight these huge hulking monsters (no pun intended) and make it out alive...hopefully...

True they could have matched Hulk with someone else but look what Chris has fought before. They could have also just put Chris against Hulk for publicity.

yeah that was my thought too when i first seen chris vs him. It was so resodent evil, from the big monster (Hulk) to chris running and drive out the way to safety.

IMO, Alex or Haggar could fit the Capcom's grappler spot way better than Zangief.

I'd actually like to see Haggar in the grappler spot as well instead of Gief or Alex. I mean I love those two, but I want something new. It'd be good for publicity too cause of the whole Final Fight HD thing.

On a side note, cmon guys, Chris is a perfect match for the Hulk.
