Quite real. This is something that really happened and is legal over there. Also in addition to this....if the person who married their character hears you even you say that the character is your woman he/she actually has the right to sue you.

Thats really stupid... If it is real like you say, i dont understand who in their right mind made marrage between man and mechine legal.

One thing I thought when I found out it was real was this scenario. Let's just say I decided to marry Peach from the Mario Bros. games. Since we are married whats hers is mine and whats mine is hers correct. SO does this mean that any game that she is in that makes money or any game that her name is used in any wa do I get paid as well snce we have to share everything in marriage. If so, then you could instantly get rich just by marrying a video game character

. I also wonder will I get to visit Nintendo often to see her at work. Maybe ill bring her a bouquet of batteries and flowers.

Actually the guy did not get married in japan. He got married on an island. This was infact real. He had the wedding on an island then did a reception (with media that he asked.) over in japan. He wanted the event to be publicized. He actually told the mass media there in japan when the reception was gonna be and to please attend.

EDIT: Also Love plus is one of those dating sims where you go from meeting a girl all the way to conception and I think birth of a baby. (no I have not played it but read the news article about this earlier.)

BTW its an adult game (nudity/sexual violence, everything japan is known for.)
