I have no reason not to be proud of Team Spoiler . These guys bust their @$$es to try & put out some characters for you guys to play with . They may not be perfect at first , but they don't hold back . They release everything they do . Everyone is now working on redoing characters that didn't turn out exactly the way they were planned .

JASONTODD is fixing Shazam & Resurrection Superman . He is also working on a few new things , I'll let him tell you about that .

Batzarro has his hands full with Harley Quinn . He's real new to the whole creation process & Harley's his first . He has other things he wants to start but Harley is his main priority .

Me , DARKTALBAIN , Is redoing Doomsday & Azrael's sprites . Then I have other characters up my sleeve too !

Jay_High joined us & now has the desire to do his Riddler .

Alexziq is the mechanic of the team , He has to work on everything we screw up & can't get to run right . So He basically works on all characters . He has the most important job on the team , but unfortunately get's the least recognition .

ProblemChild is a behind the scenes guy ! He's kind of busy with school right now .

Without these guys & help from this forum , I would've given up on Hobgoblin & character creation in general . I hit so many walls I just didn't know how to fix , that I wouldn't have continued wasting my time with any of it . For the longest time I had 10 sprites I did for this character , & 5 sprites for this character ect . Never had the desire to finish anything . Getting involved with all of the guys mentioned above gave me a desire to actually finish something ! There will be more to come ! If you like my work , you all should be happy that I am with them . Because without them none of it will exist . Personally I think Hobgoblin is pretty good . I am still in shock when I look at him , that I actually sprited THAT character . I hope you all enjoy him as much as I enjoyed making him . Through all the problems I hit , it was still a pretty fun thing to do .

Thanx , again Acey I am totally grateful to you for granting me permission to use Green Goblin . I can't even express in words what that means to me . Scar , Thanx for everything . I'm not going to forget you , the administrator of this forum taking time to help me with my problems . that means something ! I thank everyone here for the support through the process of creating this character . Even the negative comments posted , it only made me redo him & make him better than he was at first .

Niiice words brodda. Dont forget Batman DKR that Jay High, and myself will be coding shortly. Thats kinda my next big thing, and a challenge indeed, but its time to get into coding as thats what our team is very much in need of right now.

Right on , we really can't rely on Jason's affiliate for coding . Especially because he hasn't answered any of his emails . Sometimes he does that , though . I waited weeks to hear from him at times . He did just get married , I think back in August . So maybe the new wife isn't that hip to him spending time on Mugen .

And nor do I want to. Jay and I really wanted to do him ourselves, so that also may be why there may be some tension with that fellow. Jay says its not unreasonable to complete a beta with a projetile, or 2 by X-mas, and I have been working on converting a Super from Batman Returns to DKR, so we may have a beta as complete as that "other' Batman by X-mas, I may even be able to get a hyper in there by then too.

Thanx for the shouts again, and recognition isnt what I look for anyway. No site lists me as a creator, and thats fine, I prefer to be a helper, because people help me when I need it. Had it not been for the team Joker would be a slightly better Oswald, thanx to Problem Child, and Egoless I have a very unique character, even though they stay in the background.

I just run the middle, get permissions, handle the legalities for Jason now, so theres no issues with permissions, fix problems, and have fun sampling all the sounds. Its a cool hobby

That's sweet that a Batman beta could be ready for Christmas . Hopefully you can find time to squeeze in some help on Doomsday . If all goes as planned , I should have the sprites done by Thanksgiving .

No Jays doing most of the boring stuff on DKR, I get the headaches so Ill have plenty of time to help on Doomsday. Ive resprited him 3 times already so i know the character inside out. Its just a long tedious chore, but this release he will have multiple palettes, and smoother animations, ect. It will just take a couple very loooong days once you finish the sprites. FYI I wouldnt do a total sprite swap with him. I know a much quicker way.

I'm doing that stuff right now. I got out of school early today because we had to take the bullsh*t PSATs. I'm still putting them all on one sheet and then I'll start the ripping. Hopefully I can get a .sff file by the weekend.

I've just gotta say that I'm digging everything Team Spoiler's working on right now. especially Hobgolbin, Joker, Harley, and Doomsday. You guy's definitely have the right attitude - have fun and don't let anyone else get you down!

It took me awhile to find this topic

Anyway in the midst of the Dark Ages Spawn WIP I figure I can find some time to upgrade Hobs here . Thanx to my new found friend Susandirs , Hobby is going to go through some radical changes . I always say every man needs a good woman to tell him what to do .

I was so caught up with Spawn , but she is definatety pushing me to do some stuff with Hobby . So here is the first of the changes

The machine gun move will be gone & he will fire missles . Most likely it's going to be 2 & I will sprite a different launch for them . They will also be pumpkin missles & we are going to try to make them heat seeking .

His Pumpkin Barrage Hyper is changed up a little already . Now the last Pumkin stuns the opponent & you can fly in & do a mad combo . This was all Susan's idea & it's great .

I've learned

since making him back in October . So I should be able to redo some animations & add some that I wasn't happy with , but didn't know how to fix at the time .

More to come , but now is the time to hear your input . Taking ideas for moves now .

My version of Hobgoblin didn't have the " purse " He was almost demonic from the Mcfarlane issues . So to answer your question , no I am not going to give him the purse . Thanx for the vids & for your interest in Hobgoblin .
