Cody topic Revival...ftw?

So, many people want Cody in their projects. Of course whatever promises I make I try to keep. They need to see proof that I am still on the grind with Mr. Travers. Here's proof:

Because I finally crossed over such a landmark that took me forever to be happy with it, I'll be doing a lot more work on him. Enjoy what is there now and expect more updates soon.

For You Who Are Not Familiar With Metro City Let Me Bring You Up To Speed. Metro City Is A Place Where The Most Dangerous

& Violent City In The World, Where Criminals Have Lived Only To Cause Violence Chaos & Death For Many Years. At The Head Of

This Operation Is A Man Named Belger Leader Of The Mad Gear Gang & Merto City Crime Underworld. Mad Gear Choose To Take It

Upon Themselves To Run Every Part Of The City & Eventually The World. What They Did Not Expect Was A Group Of Heroic Fighters

Being Led By Former Street Fighter Now Mayor Mike Haggar & His Two Allies Cody & Guy To Overthrow There Plot.


Because They Learned Of There Plans They Kidnapped Haggar's Only Daughter Jessica In Exchange For His Submission For Them To Do

As They Pleased. In An Act Of Anger & Rage Haggar Turns To His Companions For Help To Retrieve His Daughter Which Happens To Be

Cody's Childhood Friend. They Head Out Into The Major Parts Of Metro City To Take Out The Mad Gear & Any Evil That Tries To Stand

In There Way. With Jessica's Life As Well As The Entire City Riding On There Lives They Realize That This Cannot Be There

"FINAL FIGHT" Our Story Takes Place Where Cody Having Saved Jessica As He Tells Her Of His Decision and He Makes His Way Home To

Let His Younger Brother Kyle Travers About His Plans. He Then Encourages Kyle To Be A Man & Never Stop Fighting For What He Believes

Everytime I put up a part of the story it will have a new sprite or an animation to show that I've crossed a landmark in the course of the sprites.

Chapter 1 - A Heroic Decision

*Cody Catching The Subway While Kyle Looks On*


Kyle - So...I guess your really going huh?

Cody - *sigh* I got to do this little bro. If there is one thing I learned its this: evil just won't ever stop, so neither am I.

Kyle - Which is why you should stay here and do some good in this town! Metro City Needs You Cody!

Cody - Is It The City...or someone here?

Kyle - *sigh*

Cody - *puts down bag and walks over to Kyle* Look Kyle...your 18 now and it's time that you start focusing on your own life.
      Trying to live up to my expectations is not what you should base your world on. You remember when mom and dad left us,
      and Haggar took us under his wing and looked out for us? Well now I know that you can look after yourself. Even Guy said
      you have so much potential but you got to stay focused. I have watched you grow into a real loyal man who can take a beating
      but never give up. This city can will be safe under you and the others wings. Hey, I tell you what; in one year if you
      feel like this then...I will let you come. Just you and me.

Kyle - *grips Codys hand and gives him a bro hug* It's a deal bro I promise I won't let you down. If you can save the city & a girl
        then I know I can be just as great if not better!

Cody - That's My Bro...

*end scene*

Been meaning to ask. Ever try using Sodom's legs for Cody.? Their pant style is pretty similar and might give way for some good frankenspriting material.

Either way, Cody's coming along nicely.

Oh this si defiitely the shiznite!! Cody Travers is coming back in his orignal appearance?! He looks flawless so far. I hope there's a work in for his brother Kyle to make it to Mugen as well. This is gonna be great!!

Guy - I agree. With Mad Gear just being defeated its not a question of when will they rerise once more....but how fast before it is
      complete?

Cody - Look you two this is a decision I have made for quite sometime, dealing with this issue just shows how much I am right about
       what must be done.

Guy - Wherever you go may the spirit of bushin keep you safe my friend....


Haggar - If you ever need me you dail me up boy!


Cody - Sure thing old timer!

*Jessica walking down the street sad and depressed*


*Carlos (an unknown face to Jessica which will soon be know to her father years later) walks Down The Street & Sees Her*


Carlos - Hello beautiful Whats Wrong are you alright?


Jessica - Nothing I am fine!


Carlos - You sure?


Jessica -  I will be fine....


Carlos - Now obviously your lying sweetie *escorts her to chair & sits down* come on, tell me what happened...


*Jessica Begins To Explain Her Story*


Carlos - Wow & your still alive, your stronger than you think then again your father is a famous wrestler.


Jessica - *laughs* You think so, really?


Carlos - Of Course I mean look @ you your beautiful young lady I say it's his loss.


*Jessica Notices That Carlos Has a sword*


Jessica - So I take it your a fighter as well?


Carlos - *pulls out his sword* Indeed I am *smiles* I just travel where the sky takes me...


Jessica - Well My father is looking for a boarder if your interested I am sure we can work something out.


Carlos - Sounds interesting if I get the chance to be around you then I am all for it.

*Downstairs Outside Mixture Of Mad Gear & Skull Cross hang around the corner waiting for Carlos and Jessica to turn it*


Dug - Hey Punk! *Throws Punch @ Carlos*


*Axel & Atlas try to restrain Carlos as a battle begins between the goons and himself*


*Jessica runs out into the street in fear*


Carlos - JESSICA LOOK OUT!!!!


*Car Speeds Down The Street & With a ram hits Jessica*


*Guy suddenly appears and runs down the street after the car*


*Carlos runs back to Haggar's Office*


Carlos - HAGGAR IT'S JESSICA!!! SHE'S.....

Cody - *Gasps* Something is not right....

Kyle - *Long Pause*


Cody - DAMMIT KYLE ANSWER ME BRO!!!

We shall make Cody remembered once more for there is allot that can be done with this story & shall be from the course of his downfall to the present state. You Should work on some shading for the walking sprites and you might waana double check your sprites some of the shading looks Iffy

I was about to go all "pillow shading RARRR" over page 1 but the stuff here on page 2 is really solid, and you've gotten a much better grasp on the shading with these last two kicks. Nice stuff, man.

Thanks ANC, but the first of the two kicks is going to be perfected by Primeop, seeing as he's the one who got me to start on this project.
The somersault-kick has a few more frames needed to be added but as of now its as good as it can be.
