Maybe it's just me, but since coming to the board, I've noticed it's a little difficult to tell if there are new posts in the forums which have characters that are black, since it's very similar to how it looks with no posts.
The examples include the Symbiote Onslaught, and Symbiote Wolverine, (uggg too much Symbiote stuff)
My suggestion would be to alter the icons where if there are new posts, it would have the red border around the chars icons, but if none, or marked read, the red would chance to maybe a dark gray.
That would make it much easier to visually check, in my opinion.
