Cmon DarkTalbain... I know The Rocks doing movies, I know Chris Benoit & Owen Hart are gone (RIP). I just meant what ever happened to great talent such as these superstars. As for Bobby Lashley, I totally agree with you / As for Goldberg... yeah, he was stiff... but isn't that the great part of being a shooter style wrestler? Just ask Kurt Angle. :)

What WWE needs to do is put 75% of the cruiserweights on ECW and re-introduce the Cruiserweight championship, or call it the Extreme Cruiserweight championship or something like that where it has to be defended in an extreme rules match. People actually watched for the cruiserweight action which made smackdown soo much better than raw when they were all on there (billy kidman, rey mysterio, hurricane, chavo, paul london, tajiri era). right now they have a slew a great cruiserweights who need to be developed but cant since WWE is so pigheaded they wont do anything unless it affects John Cena or HHH or Jeff Hardy. Then, as a way to almost get them back to where they were, they need to have the hardcore championship again. Since its always the same 4 people holding the U.S. and I.C. titles, there needs to be more action and hardcore matches are the easiest way to add excitement.

Anyway thats my solution to the "Wrestlers on Ice" problem

WWE has never been able to get the cruiserweight division right. WCW had it perfect when they started it, and TNA perfected it with the X-division in the old PPV Wed days but since have let it go downhill.

I think part of the problem is that Vince has never done a good job of holding onto, or building international stars, I think he sees them as expendable because they cant work the mic. He prefers muscleheaded idiots like Triple H that would spend 20 minutes yelling every Monday with little or no skill. Thank the Lord Flair finally taught HHH how to perform in the ring.

The closest example I can think is his poor treatment of Ultimo Dragon (what a waste) When you build an X-Division you need Japanese, and Mexican Superstars to create excitement. The guys at Ultimo Dragons Dojo could can do things no one has ever seen before, and had vince built a relationship with Dragon Americans wouldve gotten to see some real life Superheroics as I'm sure Dragon wouldve helped bring those guys in. Couple that with stars from AAA Mexico, All Japan, and New Japan, and some of the Indy Circuit stuff in the U.S. the cruiserweight Division would be on fire, and the guys work cheap on top of it.

Vince just wants his boring sweaty Man-Drama, Soap Opera every week of overpaid F-level actors that put on the same ole song, and dance crap in routine monotony every week. Guys like CM Punk, and RVD got boring as soon as they stepped into WWE.

BTW: I dont think pot had anything to do with RVD's fall from stardom. I think he just got frustrated and bored with the direction of WWE, and from what I heard he was furious over the way ECW was butchered into POP CRAP. Lotsa guys in wrestling smoke the wackey tobaccy. I know for a fact the Hulk, and Macho were huge pot heads in the 80's. It was a lot better substitute to the blow, and heroin that a lot of the other guys were doing, and many probably still do.

Cmon now ? Lashley has  nowhere near the amount of talent that Cena has . Cena's rap skills are better than lashey's wrestling talents

Nope , POT was RVD's downfall . The WWE was giving Rob " the push " he just one the belt . Then Sabu & him got busted in a Motor vehicle getting high . That was it for Rob Van Damne's career & he lost that push that WWE was giving him at the time .

Actually he got a 3 week suspension for that deal. He came back and had huge pushes after that. He has just recently elected to sit out till his contract is up. He built his whole following on RVD 420, it's not like it was a surprise. While it didn't help his career, saying it ruined it is a bit of an exaggeration.

Besides,i believe he decided to step aside to be with his wife(who has/had cancer from what i read)

I agree with Lashley having no charisma is true, but he was more of a mat wrestler, and he had more than "5 moves of doom" unlike Cena.Opinion...i just don't like Cena at all(booring)

What I look at is the fact that neither of them are really any good in the ring . Although Cena does seem to have an unnatural amount of strength for his build . Anyway , at least cena has some mic skills to make up for his lack of ring skill . lashley has nothing .

yeah but they stripped him of the belt .

that cover is hilarious .... lol

Heh, no a buddy of mine was a professional Jobber so these get passed around amongst geeks. These ones are from Hatorie from FMW's site years back, but I had a bunch more that he sent to me a few years ago.

My favorite is one of Rob, Terry (Sabu), Dreamer, Bubba & Devon, and Fonzy in their tuxes waiting for Mibu to walk the isle. Its classic, I'm pizzed I cant find it and I dont think it was ever posted online.

For once in years... Lashley was a African American superstar that had a chance to get the WWE belt.
Most if the time, its the same mofos getting. Im not racist, but Im tired of these white getting winning the belts. From Orton to Cena back to Orton to HHH back to Cena then to Batista. Its the same damn cycle every few months.... I would love to see MVP or Kofi fight Orton for that belt instead of them fighting that faggot of a team Legacy.

Got it , so it is a racial thing , even though you say it's not .

The Rock is African American & he held the belt because he deserved it . Where as Shawn Michaels is white & he held the belt .

I rooted for both because they were entertaining . I could give a sh*t less about their race , or religion . Although when Shawn Michaels " found God " he did become a b**ch .

I just will never root for lashley , because he is a no talent , uncharismatic  hack .  Too many roids took his personality away

Well Rocky is aboout 15-25% black. Rocky Johnson was part Puerto Rican, and Rockys Mom is of island decent. In fact even though Rocky Johnson, and Tony Atlas were the 1st Black Tag Team Champs Wrestling purists dispute that becaus of Johnsons mixed heritage.

Doom Ron Simmons, and Butch Reed were considered the 1st true African American Champs, and Ron went on to become the 1st Blacl NWA champ as well.

It's kinda BS, but I was a huge Doom fan so I gotta go with Soul Brother Teddy Longs boys in Doom. Ill never forget the 4 way tag with Doom, LOD, Steiners, and the Somoan Swat Team (Rikishi Fatu, and Samu) for the tag belt, it was immense!
