What things did you have to do/overcome in order to graduate from high school

As the topic says, what things did you have to overcome?

Mine would be the fact is that I have a portfolio I have to turn in by March 28th and I have to do collage applications, community service, essays, and work I've done over my high school years. Not to mention to take night school to make up for the classes I got F's in. Ugh

I had a senior project that had 30 hours of community service a 8 page paper and a 15min speech with 3 visual aids.  And the speech was done infront of your teacher your princible and your class mates.  and I had a art portfolio with 50 completely finished pieces for college...I think that was it   it suck

I had been sick for a long time from an unkown single cell life form that had decided to infect my digestive system with its family. I was not alloud by the state to go to normal school, so from 8th grade on i had teleteaching classes, where you have school over the phone on confrence calls, and you mail in homework.
Eventualy i was able to get a head of other people my age, and i got healther and i started comunity college at 16, with part of the credits going to what i needed for my high school deploma, but due to some errors all my credits only counted for college, so at 17 i took the ged so my credits wouldnt get screwd up even more.

AND I STILL HAVE A YEAR LEFT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I still have to apply for collages, maybe take the SATs again since I only got a 1290 the first time, finish up 16 community service hours at a Hospital  , and try to pass an insanely hard Spanish class where my teacher is crazy and doesn't give any help, she only hells at u in Spanish when u ask for help and i don't know any Spanish cuz m teachers quit two years in a row

Ahh where to begin. I was the kid that always either got sick or just skipped school. So I dropped out not once but twice. in 9th and 10th grade. Now im going back and fixing my stupid mistakes by doing the GED. I should only be in that for about 2-3 months depending on how much I learn and how quickly. (the class is at your pace not the teachers) then ill be serving one year at a community college then going off to a uni.

Isn't just good enough to pass your tests and having average grades?

Wow, I can't even remember my senior project, which was nothing more than a research paper.

they added all that crap because thay wanted us to get involved with the community and teach us how real life is  
lil did they know I worked over 40hours a week all through high school

Don't worry.. I had to take night school, too... it's not that bad, actually... the only problem was that I was at the night class, when I should have been eating dinner... ... it was weird at first..

I had to get through a lack of a high school as far as teaching goes. they didnt teach very well for a private school. on top of that, so much bulls*** over class elections, homecomming, the senior trip, and prom  eventually i took my acts 4 times and only got a 25 however i still got into harvard (no joke) and the school i go to now. however, since my high school really screwed me over im now stuggling in college during my first year. In light of that, mainly bs from people that arent even teachers who act like the run the school and a lack of passion from the teachers who took out their disgust for the school on us by not teaching us  (and no im not joking)

wow. I never paid the $300 senior year fees and missed out on all that stuff, senior trip, prom, rings, yearbook, etc. It all seemed pretty lame to me anyways. I was a pretty crappy student and never really went to class (graduated 216 out of 254) but somehow I scored a 27 on my ACT.
