MSHVSF/MVC2 Ken Beta Release and Updated 10/13/2007

Well folks its the moment you all been waiting for... :P. Ken's finally here, he's fierce and ready to kick some butt. :sugoi:

What's Done:

- Shouryuu Ken - F,D,DF + Any Punch (Both Floor and Airborne)
- Hadouken - D,DF,F + Any Punch (Both Floor and Airborne)
- Hurricane Kick - D,DB,B + Any Kick (Both Floor and Airborne)

More moves to come...hopefully :)

Thanks you guys i'm glad you folks like him because some people think he's just pure CRAP.

This Ken is terrible.

  • Shoryuken knocks the opponent too high.
  • HK should NOT knock the opponent all the way across the world. This is MvC, not DBZ.
  • CLSNs are retarded.
  • Attack spark animations are wrong.
  • HOORAY, INFINITE ATTACK PRIORITY!
  • Shin Ryuken does WAY TOO MUCH DAMAGE FOR A LEVEL 1 SUPER.
  • MvC super jump DOES NOT HAVE AFTERIMAGES!!!
  • Double Shinkuu Hadouken is a lvl2 and only does 32 more damage than Shin RyuKen, which is overpowered for a lvl1 anyway? What the hell?
  • I should be able to kick up to, from memory, 7 times when using the HK forward throw.
  • The vel at which the opponent is thrown at HK backward throw is too high in both X and Y.
  • KEN SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO DOUBLE JUMP
  • YOUR CLSNS ARE SO RETARDED THAT I HAVE TO MENTION IT AGAIN
  • NICE DEBUG FLOOD. THOSE WHITE LETTERS ARE THERE FOR A REASON. TRY READING THEM.

I tried this ken for a little
he is pretty good but
Ken's "In air" hurricane kick is kinda messed up you should fix that up
In my opinion you should take off Ken's shinkku hadouken and leave Ken's shinkku hadouken(with Ryu)

I guess that kinda it,good job reza
this MVC2 ken is pretty nice

Love all the people bandwagoning JZ, especially since it's all "he's a prick" comments.



Character-wise he's not too bad, but you can't pull off his FP Shoryuken in mid-air (it's only FP Hadoken), which is odd cause the other Shoryuken's work just fine. Oh, and you kinda need to recode his Hadoken, since it's supposed to disperse about 3/4 way across the screen, the FP version anyways. I'm pretty sure Capcom decided to add that into his Xmen vs Streetfighter version and I know it was in MVC2/1/MSHVSSF. Also, might want to work on the Hurricane Kick since you have to give him a second (maybe less) for him to turn around.

Otherwise, not bad, definitely better than Cyclops (not a bad thing), so it might turn out to be good with some changes.

Well....

The kick throw needs fixing he gets stuck in it.
His FFierce kick should make them hit the wall, but should also make the opponent recover and land again.

That's the only thing s I found that need fixing.
This is actually trhe best ken we have in this style I don't see what's wrong  ???
