Took a break from Rugal to post. What do you think?

*The hair is actually part of the symbiote.

I think it actually looks cooler this way.

Just work on the shading a lil though because his arms kind of blend in with his chest.

looks alright. but ken doesnt have any kind of symbol on his chest but yet he has the spiderman symbol when its on. the symbiote usually modifies a symbol that a char may already have. so if they dont have a symbol, then the symbiote wont have a symbol. as for the symbiote ken full, maybe the symbiote should be red with yellow veins all over with yellow hair sticking out like garuda from sfex. should also have the deranged teeth... work with that description and let me see what you can do

In all reality , was it really necessary to say which one you like better ? Especially since both of them are posting their WIP at the same forum .

I feel like an infinity mod ? What's come over me ?

Both creator's are putting

of effort into their creations . I respect both of them for that . I have offered opinions to both to try to help them with ideas . The ideas were different to each because I see these characters as 2 totally different concepts . So why compare them ?

Glad to see your making noise in the W.I.P section again. I freakin love this idea for symbiote Ken. the symbiote look sooo ill. I'm rooting for ya. As Shinra mensions about the color and stuff, maybe you can alter the pallette to be more accustom to the symbiote, but overall

Eddie Brock never had a symbol.

In MvC, Eddie's just wearing a white tee.

he's right.even when he took over the punisher it was spider shaped. when the punisher was gonna kill himself the symbiote became tammed and the spider formed a skull on his chest

Tremainekr is right about the Punisher and knows his comics. That is why I chose the Venom Symbiote because not only is it well known but it is kinda the beginning of Ken's fusion. Kinda like Black Suited Spidey. This also explains why the arms are blended in with the costume. It is all part of the Symbiote. I don't think the Symbiote would allow Ken's arms to be uncovered as it views this as a weakness. Maybe, In his ending I will do what Ken looks like completely overtaken by the Symbiote...

this kinda good, create some storyline. since your symboiate looks like venom(sonic 7). lets just say venom,better yet eddie brock wanted to become stronger,ken knew nothing about the symbioate in eddie ,ken trained him,eddie shown his true form,beat up ken,ken became crippeled(optional) during the fight his fire attacks burned off some of the symbioate,it attached it self to ken, (y elese would ken let it enter his body.), now ken(darkman_x429 )is out for revenge

I think I have my Ken's back story, (I like the clone idea) let's say that my Ken is part of the Shadowlaw: Mannequins Project. Kinda like the male alternative of the Shadowlaw: Dolls Project. Where Bison takes the cells and DNA of captured Street Fighters and creates clones. (Since Ken was captured by Shadowlaw in the past, going by the original SF Anime Movie, this would make sense that took cells from him while in captivity.) Then I could stay with the original concept of the Venom Symbiote leaving a cancer ridden Eddie Brock and finding Ken after the original SF2 tournament and since this Ken is not aware he is a clone he would have all the same memories as the real Ken he would still be obsessed with besting Ryu. That way, Sonic 7 could create his backstory and we could still link the two characters. The only problem is how to explain the fact of 2 symbiotes running around unless Sonic 7's version of Venom is in fact a clone of the actual Venom Symbiote itself also created by Shadowlaw. Maybe somehow the original was captured by Bison for testing after leaving Eddie Brock and then escaped. The clone would know of Ken Masters after observing combat footage of Ken while in Bison's captivity and bonds with Ken Masters in order kill Bison for revenge. That way my Ken would be obessed with besting Ryu while, Sonic's is obsessed with killing Bison. (Whew!) A comic in the making..

I really like the Shadowlaw: Mannequins Project idea. I think I am definetely sticking with that!

Yeah I do agree the shading could use some adjusting and I think you should have kens mouth a lil open so you can see his teeth lke veon almost but just keep the head the way it is and hair is good

Just messing around. I created a web shooter sprite for Ken and then a complete transformation sprite which I may use. But, look at that last sprite. I was just wondering how he would look with his arms and feet uncovered and the symbiote just the gi. What do you think bout that one. Technically, I like idea of the symbiote covering his unexposed areas but, I do think the last sprite looks cool. Maybe a pallette swap? What do you think?
