Where do i start?

Hey

Been interested in mugen for a long while now and finally joined infinity.

I havent got any of the other versions before on my pc so where do i start?

I'd like the full game for now, not the base one where i have to add characters in etc.

There is no full game with everything in it.There are full games with maybe all Mortal Kombat characters, or All Capcom characters. If you want them just go to random select (Google it) and then go to full games.
If not Google Win mugen, and learn the basics of mugen and enjoy.

Thanks for response, i was only interested in the marvel v capcom series, i downloaded the enternity of heroes from the forum beta v2 i think.

Havent got a clue how to pull of any of the specials and as im using keyboard to play its kind of hard, just enjoying watching the cpu v cpu battles though.

Just out of interest, what do you guys play with?

Currently im using the keyboard and boy does that suck, do you guys use a stick?

If so which ones?

I think im more a fan of joypads, any recommendations on joypads?

The next game to come out witll be super marvel vs capcom right?

Controllers work too, ps2, 360, etc...

Yeah, I use a Saitek controlelr to test all of the moves I put into my characters. Usually, I try to keep the moves simple for my edited characters (like simple qtr forward+ botton moves or press two buttons) in case someone uses the keyboard.

I use a Logitech Dual Action controller (basically a PS2 controller with a USB connector). Cost me about $15. Xbox 360 controllers are a popular choice, too.

I use the logitech controller that looks like a PS2 control or a 360 controller . I personallu like the PS2 control style for fighting games , so I use the logitech more . If you live in the US , I think I bought mine at target for $20 .

The keyboard is next to impossible, absolute impossible to use.

Managed to get a fireball out.

No where near getting a special out.

same here dude, i have the same controller, dude i'm tellin ya, its just like a ps2 controller.... all you have to do is configure your controller like this:

See each button on the controller has a number so when you decide to get it configure it like this:
A = 2
B = 3
C = 5
X = 1
Y = 4
Z = 6
START = 10

Now you have a controller that is cofigured like a super nintendo controller but if you wanted the hard punches and kicks on one side like on tbuttons (example like R1 AND R2) then set your Z to 6 and your C to 8, now you will have your fierce punch and kick on one side thus making it easier to pull off of moves... but anyway, there you go buddy, and if you need anymore help on it or anything just pm me (send me a message) ok dude, take care

oh yeah, and as far as the keyboard, no its not, not if you learn to play with it like i do, i just set my buttons up to work with the numpad on the right of the keyboard, would you like for me to show you how i did it?

I configured my stuff like this
on the numpad:
1 = a
0 = b
. = c
5 = x
7 = y
9 = z
start = enter
select = shift
dude it worked for me
and of course you already kno how to do your
up = up
down = down and so on and on

Im use to playing marvel v capcom 2 as its still one of my fave games.

Will super marvel v capcom will have the same and more characters?
Any news on who they will be, i know the punisher is there.
