We all still play but not much as we used to and at odd times. I dont play much online on brawl because quite frankly online sucks

I know this is kinda late, but the reason I stopped playing was because I realized how much better Melee is.

I had Brawl Fever . WE ALL HAD Brawl Fever .
I thought I was gonna play this game until the end of time ... but ... I didnt even play it for more than 3 months .
I occasionally play when im bored but ...

I prefer playing Brawl+ nowadays, it seems to be getting better known as well, I've been to tournaments that do brawl,melee, and plus.

It even works on wifi if the person your playing against has it to.

Brawl+ is basically a game made by the community, its faster paced, and has hitstun so you can actually do combos. They also adjust balance issues with characters trying to balance it out the roster so that nobodys broken. They removed some things like autoledge grab,making you have to sweetspot the ledge not to get edgeguarded,easy chaingrabs(falco down grab etc) B+ is basically a more competitive and faster. They also removed tripping

As for the speed of B+ its faster than brawl, but slower than melee, so its right in the middle of the two games.

Yeah..I tried it. Not exactly used to it, I still tried to play as if it were regular Brawl.

As you can see, it didn't work.

This is just a kill I got in regular Brawl. Felt like uploading it as neccesary.

Actually, atm its 5.0 for tourneys, while 6.0 is still a beta, they arent planning on any fixes per characters, unless they catch something completely broken, they are just looking for bugs until they make it official. As for tourneys with + all the tourneys I have been going to have it as a side tourney event so ya, theres plenty of tournaments for it here and japan.

Zr0 that first vid was funny as hell

it takes some time adjusting due to some fixes hit box changes, speed and knockback. I guess you probaly could think of it as playing another semi-new smash game, where you gotta adjust to the changes your characters gotten. Marths sword got adjusted hitboxes so its a little shorter, but with hitstun bk hes still a combos great and with hitstun even better.
For forward air combo into spike(or ken combo) in + you wanna fair into 2nd jump to get above his head and spike. Heres a vid of me playing my buddy with Marth granted there are

of things I could work on him to.

Also a B+ combo vid for a closer look at some changes

Well, I'm sure theres tournaments that dont allow plus or hacks, but there are tournaments that do, like pound 4. But really Plus is hit or miss depending on person to person. Personally I enjoy it

, its like playing a brand new smash game(sorta) Its also nice to have something diffrent as well so it doesnt get stale, which for me brawl has gotten a little stale.

I got brawl plus cause I hated watching characters like Falcon, Ganon and Link get their buts kicked.

And I used to main ganon.

I like hacking brawl, because we love to swap move sets for different characters and see the outcome (I:E giving the moveset of DK to CPT.Falcon

) My favorite hack of all time has got to be making Diidy Kong shoot Pokeballs instead of Peanuts. That really hacked up the game
