uh, heres the funny thing...I actually lost a few times against him and won 2 battles only (I think) and sometimes, the anger geets the better of me, thats why I got frustrated at his mario

It has more to do with me really. I get frustrated easily at games anymore, hence why I don't really play that many games at all nowadays. Kinda don't have the patience and temper I used to have back in the old SNES and PSX days.

But I'm not COMPLETELY retired. Heck, I might be back tomorrow for all I know. It mostly has to do with how bored I get (btw, I really....really....hate Snake, Meta Knight, and Marth. x_x) for when I feel like playing Brawl. I also get VERY frustrated at myself in these games as well. Especially when I want to do something, and I do something else that I don't want to do (aka Mario's FAerial.....I hate that move so much. >_<).

Like I said earlier in the cbox to Aura, I have this thing for running into stuff for no reason a lot. x_x. Hence, that FAerial of Marth's get's very, very annoying......and I know how to dodge basically everything Marth does with how freaking much I fought him with everyone, but....even as similar as everyone plays Marth, it's still different enough for me to run into that damn FAerial. >_<

Which is wierd, cuz I really don't have trouble with Falco's FAerial....o.O

I like Marth myself, but EVERYONE, and I mean EVERYONE, just about uses him. It's like.....yay! I'm fighting Link or Ike, then next match, there's 2 Marths and a lone Bowser and I'm like.....fux. >_<. Or there's a Marth in EVERY 4 way Brawl that I play.....even here. I rarely use the guy cuz I cannot use him right at all (that, and he doesn't like me to Dancing Blade at all. >_>)

O.o marth sure does have a fanbase, and IMO im starting to think hes overrated

Marth does have a fanbase. He's had one since Melee, and I do think he's overrated really myself. Not to say he's not good, but he's not godlike like some of the fanbase thinks he is. He's as beatable as the next person in Brawl (though a tad harder than some of the others....poor, poor Ganon can't keep up with Marth. ;_; ).

And here I thought Ike was overrated. How I miss Roy. ;_;

Btw, gonna hop on for a little bit since I'm bored of making UFS cards right now. I might want to try out some new people since I'm kinda getting tired of using Mario/Fox/Bowser/Ganon/Link/Ike all the time. x_x

Also note, I'm probably going to do some weird rules and whatnot at some point, just to see how much pressure I can put on the people I play. 3 minute matches sound pretty intense to try and win. ^^ Of course, I'll do normal Brawls first, and if there's more than 2 people playing, I'd like to play with items. ^^

Honestly though, Donald and I are the only ones who use Marth a lot here though. :/
Haven't seen any other hardcore Marth users around Infinity, I'm sure theres more. To be honest, I hated Marth in Melee and always prefered Roy, but ever since Brawl I liked Marth much more. And yeah, I too miss Roy...To heck with Ike! D:
Every character in brawl is overrated in one way or another, just some more than others.

It's like that with everyone though in Brawl so.....I've played a really good Wario before, then all of a sudden, he went from really good to really bad...x_x

I have yet to see any really good Zelda, Ganon, or Mario players yet though either.....

. Makes wonder....just how good you are with Ganon. ^^

I'd have to play both of you (especially your bud) to see just how good you play with your respective characters. ^^

Your Wolf's not bad really, but you roll WAYYYYY too much than you should I think. I'm no Wolf player, but I think you should definently use his FTilt a lot more than you were. His DSmash is really great I noticed (that, and I kept walking right into it. x_x).

Also, I don't know what my Ganon was thinking in that one match.....I guess he wanted to kill himself or something.

Actaully i do use the ftilt

but i didnt want to get to comfortable with it agaisnt you because i didnt want to underestimate you at all

to be honest marth in brawl is overrated but marth in melee is not overrated at all and is actually better than roy. in melee marth had longer sword range (bout the same length as dk's clap move), he didnt die easily due to him being a middleweight that was heavier than mario, his spike was easier because of extended sword range, he was fast enough to do a combo thats hard to get out of due to wavedashing (look for vids of marth is u want to see how fast he was), he had a rapid move where all you have to do is tap a and his sword swipes were fast. in brawl however marth has shorter sword range, he is actually lighter than mario which makes him a lightweight, his spike is just as hard to do as roys spike on melee (its actually the exact same), his tap a move is so SLOW (why did they take away marths fast tap a strike but then give ALL characters except most of the heavies rapid hitting moves? it doesnt make any since at all), and to top it all off ALL his smashes have extra lag to them so if u miss u die. i have never had to work so hard to play with one character in my whole life. i mean when i play with marth it may look easy but playing with him is so hard and it gets harder when the game sometimes cheats and makes u float away from the stage when u try to come back. all that said he isnt the dominant character he once was but if u work with him he will be awesome but u must use ALL his attacks and abilities to win against even the noobiest players
