i wonder where would that put the random select button
I would imagine there would be a modification to make the select screen a bit smaller, or there would be a switch to turn to a second page of characters.
Yeah that would work.
@Everyone, question do you think it's possible for a ganondorf player to beat a marth player if their both really good?

Of course. Especially in Brawl.

It's possible yes.

The Ganondorf player would have to find a way around Marth's counter and basically grapple him into submission.

Well the reason i asked was becuase when i was at final round ppl were getting mad and betting that a real good marth player will always beat a real good ganondorf player unless the ganon player thinks and predicts three or more steps ahead of the marth player. ;)

actually that is true bcause of marth's speed. you have to think and set things up and pretty much guess what you should or shouldnt do. but like it was said earlier of course ganondorf can win as could any char vs any char in brawl. no real cheapies in the game and those who were dominant in other areas were toned down severely

I'm not to intemedated by Marth player's, as long as you can aviod the counter you'll be good, even then the counter isnt that strong, not unless you're at 70+ And Marth aint even in the speed category nomore, if you wanna talk about speed then it's, Sonic, Capt. Falcon, and Fox! AND GANONDORF!   ;*))

oh please if you believe wht you re saying then you dont know anything about speed. the speed you are talking about is running speed as in how fast they run for the most part. fox moves are not fast then that of marths and ganondorf is not fast like marth is if u say that Ganondorf is faster than marth and that marth is not in the speed category then do marths dancing blade moves and see what speed is.  marth has the speed in his strikes but the lag after doing such a fast move therefore balancing him. capt falcon does not strike faster than marth he only runs faster than marth. sonic is faster than marth in both running speed and attack speed.

I agree, anyways after watching ppl play snake really well in ssbb, i may try to master him to since that is what im trying to do with sonic. I mean the snake player i saw at final round was a beast and he didn't lose to anyone till like the late semi finals if im correct. ;)

Don't be sad. Marth sucks in Brawl compared to how he was in melee anyways.

Link sucks too. His attacks don't do as much damage as the previous games, and you have to charge the up+special to use it at it's strongest power, also Mario and Luigi's Down+Special have been replaced with lesser ones.

That and Ganondorf is too slow, he is a power house, but I don't think any amount of power is worth being that slow, you can do backflips around him all day!

The only bad thing about Ganondorf IMO is that his DownB (Wizard's Foot) is incredibly weak. In Melee it was capable of KO'ing an opponent at 100-120% damage and it had a good start up time, great speed and a really long length. Now your opponent has to have more than 200% damage to be KO'd with it, it still has a pretty good start up time and the length has been greatly shortened. That was my most used move as a Ganondorf player in melee... Now its pretty much useless...

Marth > Roy
So they did plan to have mewtwo in, but just ran out of time.  :( They could have held the release date a bit further to complete it.
Oh well. Maybe they'll release a second version in the future, or some patch that allows you to download finished versions of the characters.

That was my thought too, VKM. Honeslty, I'm surprised they had so much planned that they didn't finish. Perhaps they felt like all the delays in release date were too long (THe game had been delayed at least three times as it was already). When you view game files like that though, you will usually stumble on one or two things that were changed/removed from the game in pre-production (Like the mysterious cave playing Aerith's theme as the BGM found on FF7's disk). However, this seems like a lot that didn't make it in the final product.

Yea, I have to agree. Melee Ganondorf was alot quicker, with great strength. Which made him a pretty formidable enemy. Now, he's just not quick enough to keep up with the quicker characters, and I can rip him a new one EASILY with Ike or Samus. My guy that plays with Ganondorf likes him, but to me, he's just not top tier anymore.

Lucas is actually the BIGGEST pain in the game...some of this kids moves are RIDICULOUSLY powerful and quick. I mean, to take Ike out with ONE move at only 70% is just plain crazy. He's got to be, by far, the most annoying character in the game to me.
