Also Ash says poop a lot in the japanese version of the anime.

I'll stick to the japanese version. 4kids freaking sucks.

Yup, I remember hearing about this waay back in 1998.

That episode was unaired in the states for several years until they decided to take that scene out.

pokemon was actually aired on kids wb before 4kids(fox kids)
infact.. the name 4kids wasnt even made during the canceling of this episode in america.. i think it was called foxkids.. or the box.. what ever..

i just posted something related to Sonic X anime...One piece cuts down(from what i saw at 4kids rant vids) include an entire mini-arc removed!

Luckily,Nintendo or someone else(can`t remember who) finished the contract with 4kids and Pokemon is being aired lately without that evil influence,which is always a good thing

So kid animes in japan used bad words such as "sh*t" and "bastards" ?

(Unless they were made kiddie animes in US and weren't intended for just kids in Japan, who knows.)

Well they were more made to aim at older crowds too.
You see when 4kids dumbs down animes, it makes people in older crowds not watch em.
Now I mean who here would watch Cowboy Bebop if they censored swearing, violence, and faye?
I wouldn't imagine many people would.
