Yes it does. The quality of the picture is just very sucky. You can see the shading a lot better in the theaters.
They actually show him opening it's mouth a bit.
The shape of the mouth kind of looks like a mouser from TMNT.

He looks really sucky...Meh can't judge from a Picture now I have to see the movie even more...Most be a bad angle or something. I'm just glad that it's not that whale monster people said it would be.

Pros:
1) Great Cinematography. The Way it was shot, the point of views, Felt like you were with them the whole ride!
2) NO Corny Scientist Cliche'!!! There is NO Scientist telling you the origin of the monster!! HELL YEAH!
3) The acting for the final scene before the rocks crumbe on Rob and What's her face was top notch!
4) Ending Song, Catchy as hell.
5) Fun, Fun, Nostalgic fun.
6) The monster showed no mercy.
7) [insert positive adjective here.]

Cons:
1) The movie was missing an epilogue. I WAITED AFTER THE CREDITS FOR THAT?!?!
2) Needed an explanation of SLusho.jp
3) Was a "Bit" of a let down.
