I know there were Marvel movies and DC movies, but there are more then just Marvel and DC.

My top 2 are
Spawn and Hellboy.

Lady Death (it was an animated movie)
All Alien films
Predator 1 & 2
AVP 1 & 2 (yeah I actually liked the movies, I know a lot of people didn't)
All TMNT films
Both Swampthing movies
I guess I should say all Godzilla films too since he has his own comics as well.

Hell yeah...

Almost all the science-fiction horror films from these days are nothing compared to old school movies from this genre.

While Alien 3 (1992) seems that started to lose the right feeling of the first two movies...

Alien: Resurrection (1997) was too damn weird...

Alien vs. Predator (2004) was acceptable but can't compete against it's godly sequel!!!

Oh yeah! for me there's nothing like those first two Alien films. I actually enjoyed all of the various films even the ones that didn't do all that well....I can't help it I just love these creatures

I wasn't all that too disappointed with the first AVP because I was just happy to see my two favorite movie monsters clash against each other. If we get a third one it will most likely be in space which will be awesome, but I still want a Alien 5 and a Predator 3 though.

Yeah...
I love both creatures too.

I wasn't dissapointed about the first AvsP movie...
Is just that I was hoping to see something more or less like what happened on the second film.

I remember I read something about a fifth Alien film and that James Cameron (Aliens writer & director) was working on a new plot for this movie but he abandoned when the first AvsP movie became official.

A real shame since rumors about it said that in this movie...
The real background story from the aliens would see the light at last. $\-/o$

Where they really came from?

Who created them?

Maybe even more info about the the unknown civilization from the weird spaceship where The Nostromo crew found the Alien Eggs.

In the end...
What I really would like to see again if the return of Ripley to the series.

Maybe in the third AvsP movie.

A fan can only hope...

The real Ripley wouldn't be able to return to Aliens since she died in the 3rd.
The 4th was just a clone.

I think the only way Ripley would be in the series, is if it was a prequel (to any of the alien movies, except 4).

They can always use the "Alternative Universe" magic words...

Just like they did in the comics where Ripley, Hicks and Newt are still alive after the events from the Aliens movie.

I would seriously love to see a new Alien film that was more like the first one or second one. There was talk about making the next one about the origins of the creatures or for that matter where the Spacejockey (That alien in the space craft on LV 427 that was in the first film) came from and that supposedly they are the ones that created the Aliens and that they were transporting those eggs when the space craft crashed on that planet. I would love to see the creatures get their more original design that HR. Giger created back and have that horror feeling rather than Sci-Fi. Nothing like that very first film. Maybe they should just restart the franchise where Aliens left off and just say Alien 3 and Alien Resurrection never happened or that "alternate universe" idea could work since the comics are a great resource for stories and ideas.

I also believe that the comics are an still-not-used Gold Mine for stories and new ideas.

PS: I remember I read somewhere about a rumor of a remake of the first Alien movie too.

Yeah, I read the story idea over at AVP Galaxy a good place for all Alien and Predator info and news. I also heard about that so called remake of the first film, but I think it was just a rumor. When it comes to ideas from the comics I think they need to make a AVP film about the first comic series and a Alien film based on the Aliens Genocide story.

Edit: Ridley Scott and James Cameron need to get together for an Alien film.....that would rock!
