Changes that were made.....


His Kokiri shots and arrows did no damage, that has been fixed, they now do damage

He can now chain combo all the way through his attacks, light to hard, punches to kicks like a versus series character. I rewrote all of his code to allow this

he can now cancel any normal into a special or super.

walking speed increased.

standing hard slash does more stun so you can combo from that attack

changed the sound of his super combo start, I used Neo Geo Battle Colisuem sounds.

changed his crouching light kick properties, it now does not knock down

changed his crouching medium kick properties, it now does not knock down

changed his crouching hard punch properties, it now knocks down

changed the start up animation for kokiri shot and boomerang, so now you can end combos with them

changed various hit boxes in air to allow crossover attacks and better air combo placement

kokiri blast poweradd value has been adjusted, it's now a Lv.1 Super combo

yaccel has been adjusted for more gravity to fix air combo issues

fixed air combo jumping, he can now move forward after a air combo launcher (crouching hard kick) thanks to REDHOT

Things that need to be done....

changed sound effect for kokiri shot and kokiri hit sound, want to use old NES Legend of Zelda sword shot and sword hit sounds.

Adjust damage on biggoron sword combo, it's really powerful.

Thanks for allowing this, credit goes to RMX & Silencer for making this great character. And credit goes to REDHOT for helping me fix the air combo jump problem.

please let me know what you all think?  I want to know what I can do to make things better. I could not stand how still and laggy he played, and his jumping was too floaty. and some of his moves did zero damage. But I'm hoping I did a good job with him.

well there hasn't been any updates since 2003. I've searched all over, can't get any contacts through emails, so I guess 4 years of inactivity a long enough to warrant an edit with credit given to the author.

Just an idea, but i once had this same link who played with the shop system, and when you selected him by pressing start could play with him with all of the weapons selected already, kind of like a regular and ex version of him, maybe you could combine the 2.

There are new rules in the Mugen Community agreed on by many admins and members from different sites, including Infinity. Toph followed the rules as far as I see, so he can release this. However, if he wants to be on the safe side, he could try to contact the original creator. Still, if that creator's been gone for such a long time, then he can go ahead with the update with no penalties...as far as I can tell.

I hear ya and I agree. The safest route would be to get permission. On the other hand, the new community rules were set to make updates like these possible if the conditions are met with no problems. Since Infinity also acknowledges these rules, edits & updates like Toph's are accepted.

you do release the one you had was an older version right? there been atleast 2 updated versions of that link..

What do you know, mr. 1 post? You spend your first post trying to tell someone what to do? Things have changed if you haven't noticed, and as far he's been able to, he followed community accepted regulations. Do your research first before you decide to run off the mouth.

@Toph, you might wanna do something about his stunning state. Link gets stunned way to easily. Whether he gets hit or block, if he takes 10-12 hits without landing a strike, dizzy time. He'll get dizzy whether he gets hit by or blocks most hypers blast and the like.
Do your research before you try to order someone around.

god.. how idiotic can you been.. have you even read the previous post? the link he edited was rerelased some times ago, and toph did not know about it. he edited a link that was released in 2003, and did not know there was a 2006 version
i even told him who it was by.
did you even know that he did not even get the permission to edit the link in the first place? that he could not find the original creator?
