Some interesting/useful posts disappear each time.

That's the only real downside I would see. I like forum resets. Forums should be reset more often, and start out fresh.

Kind of like you might format your pc once every two years or so.

no one really likes to start over(like when the mega memory card would crash for the psx) but it just gives you a chance to start clean

Well it's kinda obvious why there are rebirths, like what was said, they don't do this for fun. You should be happy they put this site for you town get all of these resources with no hassle. I'm greatful they rebuild, they could always just not rebuild.
