STAGE COMPETITION 2013 ENTRY

I guess I'll enter the fray. Custom stage for K'. Custom concept, custom bgm, animation and superjump. I thank Markpachi and Alpyne for there feedback. Also Dan Mt. and Kungfu Man for their sprites. Enjoy.

Great stage overall.  I really liked the rain effect.  Would be cool to see it hitting the top of the building in some shallow puddles or something to give it more prominence.  Otherwise I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the setting.

Great job though and good luck in the competition!

Thanks. Sounds like you really understood what I was going for when I made this. I was originally thinking Kyo but once I added the rain...it was K' all the way.

Update.

-Darken the floor and a few other sprites
-lowered all sprites

Probably could add simple looking tiled raindrops as the ones i used on my Baba ARena Storm stage...

-Add a second layer of rain but smaller and slower behind the floor sprite with Sin.X maybe.
-Make the shadow of the chars more flat.
-Since the stage turned that dark add an overlay dark tint with addalpha.
-Lower the chars positioning a bit.
-A layered white image with fade out could make a good thunder flash effect.

Looking way better than before.
