Kinda underwhelmed. I guess after avengers its to be expected tho.    Good oppotunity for other company's to step up with marvel kinda on to sequals and smaller properties.

Honestly, I wouldn't have a problem with Iron Man's armor if the colors were reversed. Yellow should always be the accented color, not the primary. He looks like Player 2.

I think it's more likely that their budget has been exhausted for the time being, and we'll have to see how these five do before we get a Black Panther announcement. The difficulty in creating Wakanda on the heels of Asgard, and everything in Galaxy (and probably the miniature environments for Ant Man) is the budget. I suspect what he means is that we'll have to wait for some money to flow back in before they can begin building new environments.

It's also possible that they'll use Avengers 2 as an excuse to introduce and flesh out Black Panther, much like how Avengers was kind of Black Widow's movie.

But Widow already appeared in a movie before hand (the hour and a half commercial known as Iron Man 2)

She did, yeah. But only as a really minor support role. Avengers was kind of like "Black Widow and Agent Coulson: The Movie! With Some Others Too!"

Yeah it developed their chars more but I wouldn't say it's completely focused on them

Not completely, but the movie spends a greater portion of its time focusing on how Black Widow exists and deals with this world full of Gods, Iron Men, and Hulks. That's part of why Hulk, Thor, and Iron Man were so amazing seeming throughout the film. Because Widow is an ant compared to them. And the whole film makes sure you get it.

I can kind of see what they mean. A Black Panther movie means it must be set in Africa. That means they have to characterize Africa, and one look at people's initial reaction to Resident Evil 5 shows people love to jump very quickly on "Africa...that's racist!"

I just cant understand why Black panther is not a movie yet and must of the people at Marvel should know that all the "Marvel Party" begun thanks to 1998's Blade (a black character).

And then when i saw that project "Guardians Of The Galaxy"  i wuz like wut?  o.O# ...... guardians of wut?  :|.... c'mon... this ain't black panther yet?... C'mon Marvel.....  :(

Or maybe they have planned for phase 3 or 4 or 5?... [-X

Well they havnt been able to make him work on his own yet.
They had that cartoon they made for the BET, but BET wouldnt put it on air because it was raceist vs everyone.
They are probably waiting for the right person to pitch the right script before they even think about making one.

See, thats what I mean. Not that it would be considered racist to have a black character but to have to characterize Africa. It is easy to characterize cities like NY or LA:
Greedy, business-based, reporters everywhere, jumping on every story.
That is exactly how they are in Ironman and Spider-man, and since it is familiar, no one has a problem.

But if they characterize Africa to its stereotype, they'll take major heat and get a ton of boycotts. It is a tough thing to set-up.

Perfect example here about the India scenes in Avengers: http://www.guardian.co.uk/film/2012/may/08/avengers-slum-scenes-anger-india
