Palette/Sprite Problem

Hello,

I Have a problem with FFU.  The sprite are not updating with the new palette i add.  Meaning when i added a new palette, the sprite is still using the previous palette.

Anything use don't understand...just post.


A guy told me one time, "Don't let yourself get attached to anything you are not willing to walk out on in 30 seconds flat if you feel the heat around the corner."

As far as I know, you have to go to the palette directory in FFU and click the drop-down box on the right. If it's your main palette that you just edited/updated, then you're going to have to have the old pcx files before you converted them to the palette and re-convert them and re-enter them into FFU.

Usually though if it's just another palette... like palette #2... it should work like what I first started to type out above... otherwise you're totally doing something wrong.

Just as i thought.  That's a bit annoying...but i don't mind.

Chances are that either the sprites in the SFF file is not organized in the proper order or each of the "shared palette" sprites do not have the "shared palette" option selected, which would still requires the sprites to be organized properly.

Also, I suggest you use Fighter Factory Classic or the new Fighter Factory 3.
