• Gene from God Hand was in very close consideration for UMvC3's roster. They had more characters in the final pool than they could put in the game, and Gene happened to be in that category. Mega Man was in the final pool of characters too.

• Capcom is not prepared to talk about DLC for UMvC3 right now. Sven said DLC is a part of their business, but that doesn't mean character DLC has to be.

• Svensson said Mega Man is absolutely not dead and continues to be a very important brand for them.

• The net code in UMvC3 is its own thing, it's a different beast than anything Capcom has used in their other games.

• UMvC3 costumes won't have alternative colors, like in SF4, the focus is instead on changing the geometry around.

• Cyclops wasn't a consideration for UMvC3, and Venom was never an option for characters they could choose from Marvel's roster. In the case of Cyclops, they already have a ton of X-Men in the game, so they didn't want to add yet another one.

• Having a balance of race or sex wasn't a discussion for UMvC3's roster.

• The following statement was very up in the air: If you didn't buy Jill/Shuma in vanilla MvC3, they won't be selectable in UMvC3 unless you purchase them. Again, this is not 100% and may change. Svensson was a bit out of the loop on this, so he said take this info with a huge grain of salt.

• Capcom will talk about the DLC for SF3 3s Online Edition after it's released, around August 23/24, 2011.

• About the Darkstalkers "announcement" it's just Ono trying to get the game made, he wasn't trolling or trying to mislead. Svensson called the sites that posted the Darkstalkers is being remade story "bad reporting," Ono just wants to stir up interest so he can get the game in development.

• More Fight Clubs will happen in the future.

• Gambit isn't being ignored for UMvC3, but he's not in the game.

• Poison's gender is supposed to be ambiguous.

man i have no clue but if thats correwct then thats marvels fault on that. i remember awhile back i read they get to say who they want in from their side. something to that effect and capcom has all shots on who they want in from their side. there is a supposed list of who they were allowing and not in from Marvels side back when the game was still under development ( its a closed thing, only they know who was discussed and on the table.) . capcom could say "oh can we use this character " but marvel has the nay or yay on that, so pretty much if your fav marvel person dont make the cut that was proposed then blame marvel.

Yeah, especially since the current Venom is WAY different that the one back when MvC2 was released.

Or better yet, just scrap this pile of crap, and remake this idiotic excuse for a game from the ground up... What the hell is wrong with Capcom AND Marvel!!? Not putting super important characters like !!Gambit!! or !!Mega man-X!! in the game...! It's no wonder the trade in value for this game is only between 8 and 11 dollars...

Seriously, F### Crapcom, and I'll never buy into any of this B/S from them OR Marvel...! This game is complete and utter TRASH, and if you think it's anywhere near better than it's predecessors, then most likely, you're retarded... $\-/o$

Naw dude... I'm just stating my opinion. And with the amount of rant videos that exist about this game, I can't be wrong... I honestly don't know 1 person that thinks this game is better than the last two. Yes, it looks better, and the graphics are pretty nice, but it's basically a dumbed down version of a supposed MVC type game. Sorry man, but they could have done a better job...

1) Early on Capcom said that Marvel gave them license to chose from the universe of characters, is Christian really saying that Marvel didn't giver permission for these characters? I think that's just laying the blame elsewere.

2) There are a ton of Avengers, didn't stop them from adding Hawkeye, using such an argument for the X-Men is still silly.

I like the new roster (except for Rocket Raccoon), I look forward to the new game, but I don't rely on the words of Capcom in the bullpin.

but thats exactly what capcom did. theres a simple layout and the changed controls. 1 button does everything also it has automatic launchers. everyone in mvc3 has the same target combo light+ medium +hard +launch. and lets not forget it takes no skill to do that team air combo bs

i really wish i could find that article way back when they discussed how people get in from crossover games they deal with. like in MVC3 case with marvel.

so i dont know whats what with the whole darkstalkers being just talk biz. that is just annoying mouth fodder. i rather they give out more concrete stuff then recanting on things said by their own staff. if all it was is just talk then no need to bring up it may come out. leave it in the drawing board room to ready to release. Do i think it will come out? i dunno cause the way capcom been acting anything seems like it can get axed from them. I am taking anything they say with a grain of salt till i see proof of they are gonna really do it and its out there. Sf x tekken is proving itself that its an actual game but gawd dont let it cancel like capcom all stars did. again high hopes were up. $\-/o$

but if darkstalkers does get made, i hope for some old faces like Dimitri, morrigan and a few other and some really cool fresh new faces.

man Teach Nestor project will rock! I am looking forward to the game big time. Teach Manics on board the RMM project is going to rock too. fan games in my opinion count.

If the company cant get it right then at least us who are good fans of the games have a way to put something out there that at least can give a good nod that it can be done in our way.

. just joshin but IDK if he will have that tho. but from what i read about the lil furball he packs HUGE guns. so i am expectin long range , short range guns, speedy dude, occasional garbage can picking and spam sessions maybe. hopefully if he is in, they wont do him like that. but i still say for all that they could have put in some other distance projectile dudes instead of another shorty dude. i seen how people use authur....

and if disney had anything to do with the dude gettin in they sure aint gonna tell us.
