As big of a Mega Man fan as I am, all these cancelled games don't mean crap to me because it has nothing to do with Mega Man X9, so I'm just laughing it off and filled with glee that a new Darkstalkers will finally come out.

I'm sure they'll go with the SF4 graphical style, which I don't like much but on the upside at least we'll get to see all the wacky cut-in-half movements and cartoony gore in 3d now!

I doubt it. They already said that engine is not so easy to work with. I think something like TvC.

Megaman's games my friend. Two I believe were canned: Universe and Legends 3

Also I'd rather not kill ol Rock to get Darkstalkers back

I'd rather kill Dante (have you SEEN what the new DMC is turning into. Though to be fair I haven't really seen anything new but I kinda lost interest when I saw what was posted in the first place)

nah i doubt it...well from what ONO was trying to say is it will look graphically like SF4 but without all the goofy facial expressions you see and wild supers...whatever that meant...again it was in the EGM issue where he first was interviewed about SF4.

If anything Darkstalkers SHOULD have the goofy cartoony aspect that SF4 shouldn't have had to begin with. Tis' all mixed up!
When I think of Darkstalkers I remember all the gore and blood with a silly and cartoony twist to it. You can chop someone in half and it'll somehow manage to be cute in an odd and messed up way. I mean for cryin out loud when you slice someone with certain moves their torso just spins in mid-air and reattaches to their body!

Darkstalkers may have a gothic/vampiric/ghoulish theme to it, but it is in fact anything but dark.

...thats why i said "what ever that meant"....because i (like you) thought the same thing on DS wackyness in the gameplay. i should know. i used to play the game a lot. hell i still want demitri for MVC3

But anyway after i read that im thinking hes going a much more darker rout and less wackyness?

eh dunno. all im hoping is it comes out hot and enjoyable...
