Thought you guys might want to checkout progress on Luke Cage he's a CVG wip but myself/REDZ,MUGEN NINJA/ JAMES BOND,HyperSonic92 and Trexrell44 put this much together as a team in a day and a half. He's coming along nicely and yes there will be a bit of cleaning up here and there but I think its going well

Lol Just asking because they aren't proportional to his body. They look as though they belong to a complete different body type.

Check out some of the abstract, awesome and different ways Luke has been drawn over the years, it's a style just the same, some people call it art you call it wrong, who knows, Peace friend and I hope you'll want to play him

I can't really see Luke Cage with that stance... I've always seen him as one of those backstreet brawlers in Harlem. Maybe make his stance a bit more boxing like?

street brawler not kung fu guy but he does have an elbow dropp after this he comes crashing down

Luke looks good. Nothing on my crituqe isn't anything you havn't already heard. I agree abougt the stance, it might be wiser to use something other than the stance from the base, it's just a dead giveaway. Also the angle on the stance is very sharp.

The legs, I think you cna get away with the weeny legs after you change the stance but on the kick attacks the legs get even skinnier, a I personally think those don't work.

Never-the-less, great work for one day of effort.

O.K thanks to Daredevil and others for pointing out the legs Im gonna go over and fix them a few pixels wider(like in the logo above), also I will clean up all the belts (|which need doing) with this CAGE buckle aslong as everyone likes it and J.Jones Jewel is now with him in battle.
This is one sprite of a stance I was working towards inspired by Trex and hypersonic, might end up having 2x stances but what the hell :salute: ( the other with his fists up)

Few small changes but I really think they make a big difference.

I hope this pleases most, your thoughts?

I never know about Luke Cage, but the sprite is very interesting by the looks of it. He looks really good.

If anyone is using Photo Shop I can show you the quicker way to smart palette the character. More steps at the beginning, but worth it in the end.

Wanna help make some palettes for Mr. Cage? Feel free:

Right now we only need four but that might change if we decide to make Cage be the kind of character with a dozen palettes (7-12 being accessed by holding Taunt+whatever button for those who didn't know)
