Mvc2 Strider by KONG Re-Edited

I was disapointed that the only good MvC2 Strider hiryu was Xzero's, but his is incomplete. so i decided to edit kong's crappy one into an actually good character

what i have fixed/changed:
fixed the comboing BS. it is now more accurate to mvc2 (in fact even feels mvc for that matter)
Fixed the hyper BG and the hyper combo finish
added sounds to the hyper combo finish
hypers no longer give back power
fixed minor bugs
scaled to MvC2 accurate scaleing
Better Damage Dampener
i had to make the QCF 2 :bp s hyper a level 3 hyper because i tried to fix the damage but i got lost in the coding *damn kong and his complicated varsets
easier to pull off the gram move
things to fix/add in the future:
Infinite priorities
4 button mode
fix the QCF 2 :bp s hyper
any bugs that i missed and whatever's listed in feedback

Now just...everyone please let's keep this in a more formal matter...

It's not really...nice to call someone's char crappy like that. You could have said: "Now we know that Kong's Strider is sort of missing quite some touches here and there so I decided to edit it myself and see what my results are"

Please remember...Kong has provided everyone from anywhere almost an unlimited amount of sprites for everyone to use. For that he has my respect. So please kindly avoid lightning a flame with showing some negativity to someone's work.

There IS a Strider Hiryu thats well made to resemble the original MvC1, its by Splode.

There IS a Strider Hiryu thats well made to resemble the original MvC1, its by Splode.

I was going to point that out before I changed the thread name, but I noticed he specifically mentioned MvC2, so I held my keystrokes.

I'm gonna have to agree with Acey on this one.

Takes someone else' character, calls it crap and re-edits it like he made any difference. He also posted this on our site and just like here, he didn't even make the link clickable, and didn't provide a proper video or a screenshot. IMO, this has "The Dump" material all over it.

they arent even the MvC style at all, broken as hell *really the unedited version of this strider can kill under 30 seconds* did i mention crappy collisions? now compare my edited version of kong's strider and the original one. you'll soon see i did a shitton of changes

I'm pretty sure we all have tried Kong's characters out, it's no question why they dont feel like any of the source games, but straight up calling it crap is not really the nicest way to put it. Please tell me you read my previous post...

One thing I tired of people saying is how bad chars are. First of all it doesnt take that long to turn a KONG char into what you want it to be. (editing wise). His chars was made with the same formula so if you learned that you can edit almost all his creations. Yes before you learned the necessary steps it can seem slightly broken. But with some work on your hand you can make a very well done char. We are already loosing mugen creators. and people are not being grateful for the work it takes to complete a char. If you payed kong or and other mugen creator, then you could complain.

I'm with Acey on this.
In fact, Kong's chars REALLY have some problems, some have less and some have more.
I don't call Kong a crappy creator, I call him a lazy one :)
He do awesome things on codes when he wants, but its just too lazy on other ones.

But my point here is:

This is pure hypocrisy. Not to mention ridiculous.
