hmm i don't know. i remember them saying gow3 would be the last in the series. the way people are with computer programs these days its hard to tell whats real and whats fake unless the actual game developers confirm it

EDIT: it has to be fake. it was posed 7months ago and has not been confirmed by the developers and the guy makes logo animations, look at his other videos. so like said before he is just someone who is good with computer programs

Wrong, He killed himself after accomplishing his vendetta with the Gods and was not free of his torment that he attempted to escape from since the first God of war. See ending.

He was used by the Gods(GoW 1), then used by the Titans to get revenge on the Gods Killing Athena in the process even though he did not mean to and again was betrayed by Athena, " Her Spirit" (GoW 2 and 3), He killed off everyone and basically said F-it! <---Conclusion

Ok ok for 99% of the game kratos was not a hero but a pissed off guy, i just meant main character i guess.

But if its how he went down kratos is only able to beat Zeus and use the power of hope after his wife and child help him "forgive himself" for killing them, he realizes his hatred towards himself was the real reason he killed everyone and yes he does kill himself to give hope to humanity instead of giving it to athena who got bitchy in the end, he could have given it to her or to no one if he wanted to but he chose humanity, sure he was a little biased for how much he hated gods but he got a little redemption in the end.

Granted hes Not a hero but my point is i dont like him XD. We need more danteish heroes, enough tough guys and emos already. Well xcept for that asuras wrath dude, his extreme manliness is ok.

My point exactly Todays society is too soft. You have to understand what he came from the times he lived in were lives were literally meaningless. The gods played a seemingly endless game of chess and people were the peices. I mean i may seem a little biased (I bear the characters name for christ sakes ). But you guys claim to not identify the character as a hero due to his lack of sympathetic actions. However to not be sympathetic to his plight would be hypocritical. He was an a$$h0Le but if one day you were down on your luck prayed to your god for help and got what he got in return I think I would have been ALOT less nicer than he was after the fact.

He wouldn't probably kill you to get a step closer to his goal... he would kill you to get a step closer to his goal. He demonstrated that in the first 2 games where the first game he killed some guy that wouldn't let the bridge down, and the 2nd game he put some poor guy through this grinder thing just to break it, that's more on level with something a villain would do then a hero. Punisher is an anti-hero and he wouldn't even think of doing that.
