I looked into this, I could not find one record of the us saying they've banned packages from japan.
The recent statment given about air package bans talks about banning things from Yemen and Somalia.

There was nothing more recent then this, i googled the topic about japan he talked about in the video, but that artical was only showing up on video game related websites. I think its a hoax.

i saw the vid.  seems to ehhh to me. of Youtubers are always finding some creative way to voice their political view of stuff and flame the president. Import games are still gonna be around.

yeah dude i done seen so many F.U obama stuff wasnt but a matter of time they gonna blame homeboy for games not gettin shipped here. thats not gonna happen. trust. Imports thrive for peeps who want to play games that never get released here because they think we might not like it. People will find some way to use a issue to promote what they REALLY wanna say and not to the just cause. yeah this guy was almost seriously believeable but with a lil research....nah all BS.  So it brings to mind what else they gonna use as a plattform for a hidden agenda?  think about this tho.. he was sayin we couldnt get imports but uhh we can ship exports of video games? too much nonsensible exclusions in that for me to believe really. always scrutinize till i get the facs.
