Win Mugen Hi-Res trouble please help

When I goto the Mugen.cfg file thingy and disable the debug mode from 1 to 0 and open up my MUGEN and goto watch mode, when it says round 1 and stuff like that ( imma just cut it down to the point). I hit crtl + 1 and after it says FIGHT, its still the computer controlling the character, its the same thing even if I leave the debug mode on!

Can somebody help me with my problem?

Do it during the the characters intro, not after.

are you using hi res only or plus?
