Survival Mode/Training

The rules are the following:
1. Enter Training Mode with 99 (Marvel) Seconds
2. Set P1 Life Recovery Off
3. Set P1 Hyper Combo Gauge Start at 0
4. Set P1 Hyper Combo Recovery Off
5. Set P1 X-Factor to be Level 1 at all times
6. Set P2 Life Recovery On
7. Set P2 Hyper Combo Gauge Start at Maximum
8. Set P2 X-Fatcor to be Level 3 at all times
9. Set P2 X-Factor to be activated an infinite amount of times
10. Set P2 Hyper Combo Recovery Off

Rules: Player 1
1. Survive until the timer runs out

Victory: Player 1
1. Timer Runs out

Defeat: Player 1
1. Player 1's Characters have been eliminated

Rules: Player 2
1. Defeat your opponent by any means necessary

Hmmm... Cool idea, might modify the rules a bit when I try this, but cool none the less.

Just ran a set with Nestor, as always his Frank is pure gold, much respect (especially to the crouching H).

I'm likin She-Hulk again, she is so much fun to use with all the resets and tricks she can do that makes Hulk look horrible. I guess I could say: She-Hulk > Hulk? (No offense Acey

)

Then Nestor figured me out with Spencer, She-Hulk, and Task (basically team combofiend) so I switched to Trish, X-23, and Gouki. It was a close final match too with 2 lethal assassins (X-23 and Strider) left with X-factor...anything coulda happened...

Pretty good matches man, Shulkie is indeed a solid character

. And the mix-ups were very good, nice work man.

Also: I couldn't find the guy with the team I had problems before

however, I've been using my Chris/Frank/Hiryu team again in ranked matches, and I think I'm having good progress

I have sometimes problems to level up Frank, but then I rely more on Chris and his Grenade H/Magnum/Machine Gun, until I can manage to do a combo and then do a TAC to lvl up Frank

It's completely true. One on one She-Hulk can kill Hulk, same for Thor.

Okay...I just had possibly the most weirdest and regretful experience in marvel3 just now...

I was battlin DP and I made a dare...reverse our teams...basically i was using DP's team and he used my team...I was mindeffed...

Btw also, for MaverickZr0, good games as always, idk why DP chose to fight ya just once but still THAT ZERO!!!

And my boy Raxx8, he gettin the hang of the game even better, he's movin around more frequently too...be afraid...

The only reason I only played once was because, Mr. Zero, causes me to panic.. I lucked out so bad. If everyone has a character that they're afraid of, it's Zero for me. Not Vergil, Morri/Doom, hell not even Dark Phoenx.
DCL those were some good matches, last ons not so much. I still can't believ I lost to your friend like that. He's got some skills with Akuma. Now if only you'd stop coaching him and let me see how he handles against me alone *insert evil laugh* Man anyone know how to resurrect a corrupted/dead laptop HDD TT_TT

X-23 is like a female Zero (yes I know shes a clone of Wolverine but just listen), she has everything she needs to make you regret fighting her, the assist mix-ups, SOLO mix-ups, cross-ups invincibility on all her supers. She has it all, she only lacks the ability to zone and keepaway, but she makes it up by dealing a bit more damage than Zero can. Zero is a different story. He is far more dangerous than X-23 but the damage is not. He does a ton of damage at the expense of using way too much meter. (ex. in one of my main X-23 combos, I can do up to 800-900k of damage and using only 2 meter if I DHC, Zero can continuously use meter by using Sogenmu and Lightning Loop which would deal a crap load of damage but uses up to 3-4 meter if he has to)

Technically...its natural to be more afraid of Zero than X-23...but still don't think X-23 is a pushover. You saw how hard I worked to get rid of Zero? It was no easy task...

As for my good friend, he learned Gouki from me...its the minor lag that online has that makes him drop most of his Dante or Vergil combos.

Finally...I am NOT gonna do a reverse match again...my performance in that was pitiful... T_T

Aww I found that match to be fun

Zero's got air control that X23 doesn't. Plus with Doom your forced onto the ground to eat Zero's combos. I'll need to see what I can come up with against MaverickZr0

I actually wanted to see how long I could last before I got sick of playing.
I didn't pick up amaturasu from him. picked her up trying to find an assist back in vanilla, I actually met him on Shoryuken fourms a few months before rumors of Ultimate. He has taught me most of what one can do with Phoenix. Another who taught me as well clearly has a better Phoenix on point then either of us. Don't think you can kill her off right off the bat either like my Phoenix. I have to introduce you two.

Anyway, I don't know why he used his phoenix team though, I'd thought he'd show off his Morrigan team.
Bullet hell anyone? Not this few reps, I mean OMG CHIPS AHOY!.
this guy plays in tournments too, he's made top three or five. Can't remember at the top of my head. That was with Zero/Phoenix team too.

Love to fight him again though, even though I'll get bodied I'll try. OMG I STILL CANT BELIEVE I MANAGED TO GET A WIN OFF HIM!!! Looks like he taught ya well. I hate playing defense, it's not my thing but if I have to I will...after all, its marvel =P

I never said killin Phoenix would be easy...cuz it aint, even with my team...BUT YA SAW WHAT I DID THERE?!?!!? HE TURNED DARK PHOENIX AND I STILL KILLED HER! XD (even though i lost)

Also, is dirt-nap unavoidable on an incoming character? I've tried attacking, blocking, double jump but it always gets me. : O

Good matches as always, also i finally remembered, I did battle you a few times back in vanilla marvel3, it was on an IMT lobby but i didnt get the chance to add ya. I was still green (aka new) at the time so you pretty much bodied me...now...I stand a chance XD

The dirt nap...its escapable...but its extremely tricky and difficult to do unless you have characters with air supers that are invincible on the way in like Sentinel (Sentijamal) Hard Drive, Morrigan Darkness Illusion.
On the way in, if you dont press buttons, your still invincible but the invincibility is very low so you might still get hit with it. But theres an alternative...watch this video I made...

I am 5 trophies away from getting all the trophies for marvel3...

I just need the following:
The Ultimate (obviously)
Waiting For The Trade
High Score Hero
Incredible
Comic Collector

im just havin issues with a specific trophy...which is High Score Hero, I can only get around 410,000 - 460,000 points, any advice people?

I can easily get Waiting For The Trade and Comic Collector just by finishing arcade with all characters. As for Incredible...I need someone's generous help for that
