Also forgot to say this:
After watching FGTV on stream last night, I learned that Vergil's teleports can be read easily by the animations. He teleports he leaves a blur animation. When the lines are horizontal or side to side, he will teleport in front of you. When they are vertical or up and down, he will teleport behind you. That maybe why his teleports are so slow. If they were faster he'd be broken

either all this will get patched or tournaments are going to get boring to watch like marvel 2 since everyone will be running the same teams to abuse the broken stuff in the game.

Love that Cap! Keep it up Swiziga, he's one of the best in the game of the "non-cheap" variety.
yeah ive only recently noticed how good he is but i still have alot to learn. i constantly mess up at the end of my combos when it comes to doing hyper charging star and the other ones involving air shield slashes can get tricky with the timing

The only one I see getting patched is Trish's since its an infinite while dooms, Firebrand, and Amaterasu's fall into TAC rules without breaking them since they can be countered. When ever you hear the TAC start sound effect, you can counter. I heard that Magneto has one too, so I guess anyone can have TAC without exchange, just need to figure out what they are.

It's crazy because it's so easy to start but then again most tournament players avoid TAC because of the uncertainty. Capcom needs to do another patch for Ultimate and Trish needs to be included, my concern is the online lobby copycats.

The combos are quite easy to replicate once you see someone do them. It takes years to master MvC2...while MvC3 took only months...

just read on srk that the tac infinites will be allowed at evo. apparently its not broken since people can break out of it but that makes no sense to me because you have to guess what theyre pressing which means you can get it wrong every single time o.O#

Well think of it as a chance to stop a touch of death combo.  :-& but at least you get a chance to do what ever.
Also didn't Seth say that there was enough time to attack the TAC user is countered?

since playing this game i have yet to see anyone punish another player after getting a tac counter ive always asked about it and i get the same answer, it cant be followed up after you send them flying back because they are invincible during those frames, another reason why tac makes no sense and another reason why i dont understand evo is allowing it.  its not even a 50/50 of you getting out since you have to guess out of 3 or 4 directions (not sure if up is used but if it is that brings your chances down even more. i remember reading the chance of you guessing right is only about 30%)

Team Air Combos...Flying characters...

Basically, first to master them wins Evo...

Which means it will be BORING as hell to watch everyone always go for TAC combos. I know it resets the hitstun counter and also prevents you from dropping combos due to hitstun, but that already makes TAC broken. That's all it should do though, reset hitstun, THATS IT. Once it resets and ya start attacking again, hitstun will begin to decrease as you land more hits. Why did this suddenly become a major issue?

i think this year's evo is going t be full of morgan/spam teams like that guy did with coldstar+viewtiful joe and alot of tac glitches. the pro scene for this game is getting very lame very fast and im wondering how long people like combo fiend can survive against this "new tech." sigh this game has finally become mvc2's successor with its brokenness that is now seen as normal because the majority response to it is "IT'S MAHVEL BAHBEY!" while the smaller crowd sees 10 more years of nonsense

"What I think is happening is when you hit a character with just the very end of that Air Heavy or rather the start of it as soon as he hit the ground, then the game never thinks he touched the ground. So it continues to ignore hitstun scaling because neither character has touched the ground so it still thinks you are in a Team Air Combo."

For some reason that just seemed dumb -_-

The reason theres that weird animation with Sentinel is because he's in his Jump Animation. And also he is holding up. Apparently once you start pressing and holding up, you're going to be in a jumping state (for some reason the game believes the "Jump Stance" is considered to be a jumping state). If you are still holding up the moment you land, you'll immediately re-enter the jump stance, and continue youre "Team Air Combo".

Sorry I couldn't play in the lobby DCL :( my father was using his laptop as well, and I could only play with 1 more person (I got a connection of 4-5 in these cases). IDK if its me, but I've tried to play like this in the past, in a lobby, and all ends with me trying to do something with the massive lag lol.

lol I'm looking for someone else to replace Vergil. Think I'm going to keep Frank/Hiryu, I need to see which could fit Vergil's spot. At first I was using him because he was easier to use than Dante, but seeing all the related stuff about him being really overpowered (along with Zero, Wesker, etc)... I'm really considering change the spot. Perhaps using Deadpool could work, I'll give it a try next time.

Also, I'm having troubles with a zoning team (GRider-Heartless Spire, Doc Strange-Bolts of Balthakk, Dr Doom-Hidden Missiles). Any tips?

Chris is one of the best at Zoning (if Morrigan is not included), the fire grenades and Machine Gun Fire are like Deadpool's Ninja Gift M and Happy Trigger.
Pair him with Hidden Missiles and it'll be difficult for your opponent to get in.

Ghost Rider on point with Super Armor Hsien-Ko (Assist Alpha), and Doom Hidden Missiles = .....DAMN
Ghost Rider's Long Range Attacks will want to make your opponent use a character with a counter move. Hsien-Ko having super armor with her Type-A Assist will keep her from getting hit out of the attacks, and her assist covers a LONG range. With Hidden Missiles (while keeping your opponent away) will pretty much start to make your opponent frustrated.


OR...do what Acey does...

Pick hero characters (who seem to be a LOT more difficult to use than villain characters)...

When someone is zoning you need to understand what space they are trying to control. Usually it's right in front of themselves or something strictly horizontal or vertical. Most zoning can be beat by keeping it in the air  to move over the beam or wave dashing in low when the opponent is in the air (watch out of dive attacks, e.g. Dante, Vergil, Frank). Keep moving and avoid doing the same thing too often. Don't be predictable.
