i dont know how d,f,super=7rings thats clearly spell of ashanti but the game hates me

i had enough salt for the day i had to stop playing it after that. got back in a good mood after playing some ssf4 the only capcom fighter i always enjoy playing.

CEO 2012 just came and went, Justin Wong took out Morrigan (NY ChrisG) for the win!

@ DCL, Interesting thing I noticed about Marvel 3, the characters that everyone hates, the top tier broken loops and crazy cheap win guys... Wesker, Sentinel, Phoenix, Vergil, Morrigan, Dr. Doom, Magneto, they are all villians. With that knowledge I currently only sport hero teams, Capt. America, Spider-Man, Chun Li, Ryu, Haggar, Hulk, etc... and I feel a lot better about myself and my wins by the end of the day. Now when I see the "villians" teams like Wesker, Vergil, Taskmaster I just chuckle to myself, "villian player". I wonder if Capcom did this on purpose.

Yo I didnt notice that...
I guess cuz I use Nemesis in my team and he plays a villain...
One of my friends uses the Trench Coat team and its basically the only team he can beat me with. Im still waiting on another friend to get 2.75, he told me he has a sick Dante, and possibly Gouki too...

OMG man, I just ran into one of the BIGGEST frauds in a lobby right now. The only reason he kept winning was because he was spamming the Rapid Slash with Vergil while in lvl 3 X-Factor, and he was using the Trench Coat Team. He hardly tried with Wesker and Dante, and when he used Vergil, all he did was spam Rapid Slash. I didn't know he was gonna keep doing that and I barely lost to him. The next time I fought him, I just pretty much exposed him as the fraud he is. Then I fought him AGAIN and this time he tried...he literally did try and NOPE, the sad part is he couldn't even touch Nemesis. I just straight up embarrassed him twice and I almost yelled at the top of my lungs "HOLD THAT SH*T!!!" I don't normally taunt my opponent after winning, I never do actually since I show my respects to the player. This however was one exception.

It felt good because everyone wanted him to leave, after taking 2 embarrassing losses he left. Not gonna forget the others in the lobby, they put up great fights but my X-23 was running circles around em. OMG SOMEONE USED ARTHUR AND NEARLY BEAT ME!!! It's a good thing I had Ryu or I woulda lost.

Man, I had some matches with a Doom/Vergil/Dante team against my Spider-man team. I lost 12 out of 14 matches. Doom is easy to beat, Dante is pretty even but I really need some Virgil practice. Here is hoping to find a lot more Vergils online so I can get used to him. Actually I think I need to learn to play as Vergil so I can fight against him. That's how I learned to defeat Doom easily.

one easy tip to beating vergil is crouch and wait. his teleport is unsafe so once you see him do it its a free punish and vergil users teleport

which is why i only use him with a projectile assist.

Vergil just seems to be an easier version of Wesker, he's just as dangerous as Wesker when he's in X-Factor Level 3 with Devil Trigger and Swords makes him nearly unstoppable. Im thinking Spiral Swords needs to be a level 3 just like Strider's Ouroboros.

1. Bait & Punish (PWNish) his teleport (if he has no assist)
2. Punish (PWNish) the Air Down + H if he doesnt teleport right away
3. Guard Push the HSHSHS Spam when you see him use H to trick your opponent to press S, which is punishable (PWNishable).
4. Play a zoning game to lure a teleport, X-Factor and punish (PWNish).
5. Use Snap Back to get Vergil in and try to eliminate him ASAP.

Punisher should've been in the game so he can punish these cheap characters...

Serious question.
Do I need to buy UMvC3 again? The lable on the disc has missing spots around the center and a few that are not. I know that CD's and some DVD's lose data if the lable is damaged, but does the same go for Blu-ray disc's too?

How much is missing? If it's just a few tiny spots in the center, you should be good. If you start experiencing weird glitchs and freeze-ups, then yeah, I'd get another copy, but unless it starts screwing up, you should be ok.

Ok thanks. Well none of that has happened to UMvC3 so

. But I guess I have to replace two others. BTW whats causing the spots?

Same way the bottom gets scrathed I guess. That or the constant ejection/insertion of the discs. Only game I had to replace because of that for PS3 so far was Red Dead Redemption, caused some pretty hilarious glitches and frustrating freeze ups... For PS2 on the other hand...
