There was an update for umvc3 (ver 1.03), and it seems crapcom has done it by removing the Alt Glitch...i was hopin for the classic HUD instead of these 2 big X'es in the way...
It was a 19MB sized file for PS3...which didnt seem right, all it was is to fix a small bug that allowed Alts and Herald colors to be selected...wth?

I havent seen any other changes, Im still doin the same combos i can do, so I highly doubt none of the characters were buffed or nerfed...

Yeah some people were saying the update was like 3mb or something on Xbox. I wonder what the extra 16mb are for on ps3?
Hidden graphic fixes maybe? IDK I don't want to give up my free DLC to find out

why not do an assist me for the more difficult characters like dante or spiderman? i dont see what he could cover on her that would really be helpful since it would be insane to use her as a point character. its just gain 5 meters send her out and teleport/spam projectiles like crazy once she dark phoenix

After going back looking through the Assist Me's that I missed ... I'm probably gonna regret saying this:

Does it make me a horrible person to say the Mega Man Zero suit is actually growing on me?

I'll only play Zero in the X costume. Then again, I don't really use Zero.

But that could be said about anyone who can spam or meter hog to fill the screen with some absured projectile. Vergil, Strider, Rocket Raccoon, Morrigan just to name a few. Swiz you aren't the only one to get angry with this, I'm sure that Max will do a video for everyone eventually. Besides how many Phoenix's do you see online? At least with the vids, we may see more characters that take care of Phoenix if online gets swarmed with her again instead of the same damn team. YEAH I'M LOOKING AT YOU TEAM TRECHCOAT!!! $\-/o$

I think the main reason I quit playing this online was lack of variety. Just got boring seeing a constant sea of coats.

i say it because no one uses her as a point character shes always last to get meter, unless max shows a new way to use her on your team

characters like her and hulk should really be at the bottom of the assist me list because (imo) there inst that much to them. id honestly rather see a modok assist me before phoenix after seeing what hes capable of at my school and on srk combo vids i saw a while back

Dante is easy to beat, Vergil can pose an issue. Wesker is always going to be a problem.

Wesker will be a problem constantly no matter where he is, anchor, point, does not matter. If someone's using Wesker, best to take care of him immediately.

Vergil has an insane range with his standard attacks. No matter how far you are somehow you will get hit by the very edge of his sword.

Dante is overused nearly just as much as Wesker. Though he doesnt really pose much of a threat. Just always expect an Air S or The Hammer. People always do that...always......

Capcom obviously wants Wesker to be the counterpoint to Phoenix (Marvel) which mean it's a character you should snap in and kill fast but I believe they want his play style to be different despite this similarity. It's difficult to make a similar but different character which is why I think they stuck us with such a powerful character.

You guys can see my main team in my signature below but I also love to switch in Haggar, Iron fist or Spider-man (With some fantsy pants combos offline) as point or third. I love me my hero teams. Hulk is my most common link between any two other chars outside of my main team but I can also carry Deadpool for his OTG, Sentinel or Dormammu.
