Most people have just kept Taskmaster. Hawkeye is really good matched up with Capt though. You hit on the crux of the problem, finding a diverse cast while appeasing the fan boys too is difficult. That could be fixed by a roster of 100 or 200 though.

That can be said for a lot of games now days they want more people to get into gaming so they make it easier for them even if in the long run it's not helping them improve much and (maybe)making the game less fun for those of us who know how top play and play games often.

but that would be very interesting to have that kinda roster. we do have a good roster already put up ya know showin how an Ultimate version would really be so. i say..port over all the cards to actual characters but as dlc and i get to pick who i want. and Jin Satome better be one ofm them! $\-/o$

Actually, that is part of what I love about the game, your 5 year old can play it so he'll actually be motivated to play it more. At the same time, he can't (or shouldn't) be able to beat you as a seasoned game player.

It's like basketball. It's easy enough to pick up a ball and learn to put it through the hoop but there are still a variety of levels of game play. I can play ball, but not against someone who's college level or pro.

They did with gear 3 too appearently. Added weapons that were stupidly overpowered to get more players.

It's cool if you like the game, just don't be mad when Capcom screws you again by making you buy 12 more characters on a whole new retail disc... for 40 more dollars. I know first hand that if gamers band together, and protest something hard enough, the companies WILL listen! And ultimately, the gamer WILL win! We are the consumers! We pay their bills! Stand up for what you want! Or continue to get half a$$ed games like this one. There's no reason why those cards can't be playable characters. There's also no reason why there can't be mode selections! How hard can it be to put in an MVC 1, and 2 mode? I don't care if you like it! And yeah I did say that!! And I still feel that way! But not in the sense of you actually being brainless... But apparently I'm not allow to name call... Everything I stated about this game is TRUE! Nobody has proven me wrong... I was just telling Acey on PM today that I took a break from MvC3 since I had a bad rage night about a week ago playing ranked matches and decided to put it away for a bit. PS. Below are some videos of one of the great players I met. His name is Merc yer Eel. He was already a 2nd Lord when I fought him that night. These guys recorded their matches against him, but I had a really bad argument with him since he would tbag and send stupid bragging messages every time he won, like in the first video, which I thought was unnecessary and disrespectful. He was just a troll full of himself telling me that he was one of the greatest players that ever lived and a shoryuken great, and how many tournament players he had beaten, including Masta CJ...

...I then told him that he wasn't good enough because I gave him great fights in every match we had...

...I beat him once out of ten...

...and almost beat him in several others. He was using Dante as point, like in the first video and calling Sentinel Force the whole time. Although I don't consider that spamming, since it's an assist, but it is pretty hard to defend against when you got someone that knows how to kill you with one combo. He would also do that Sentinel/Dante mixup every time a new character would come in, which is pretty hard to block...

Believe it or not, his Sentinel was the easiest to beat...

PSS. He is known as ProzacStylings in YouTube...AND YES, he did that Frank West combo in the third video he made below many times during our matches, and even longer ones. I had to make sure I did not drop a single combo, or had to run away because he would kill any one of my characters every time he was able to hit me. Almost all of his combos were 100% and he did not drop them...

PSSS. I'm really glad the whole debate is over. Although I can agree with both sides in many of the points, I did have to read through all of that to get up to speed and it wasn't fun at all...

...so I won't even bother sharing my opinion...

PSSSS. Just watch the first match of both videos and you will see how good this guy was in Vanilla and how good he is in Ultimate. Remember, he is using the team on the right in both videos. He is not the guy shown in the box below or the one talking. Those guys just recorded matches against him. Anyway, I'm actually proud of how good I did against him even if I loss 9 out of 10...
