I'm using the X360 d-pad, but I'm adapt to using it cause I had MvC2 on Xbox. The Dpads from Xbox to 360 are very close if not identical.

Ok, what controller is everyone using, because I have the default XBox 360 wireless controller and I have the followin problems:

1) When I do a  on the d-pad no matter how meticulus I am, my char ends up jumping.

2) I switched to the control stick but now when I block low left more than half the time it won't register that I'm holding back and I am tired of G-Lux taggin me in the corner while I'm obviously blocking low.

D-Pad sucks (on both controllers that came with the system), the control stick sucks, what are you guys using?

Listen this goes for anyone who ever will even think about playing a fighting game get a stick. Just do it your life will be so much better itll be worth every cent.

, it's not that it's messed up, it's just not designed for fighters because if the rocker style. I've always commended PS for the rocker Dpad that cuts the corners out, in fact I found a controller mod that will change the X360 Dpad to button caps, totally gonna get that thing someday.

Bro, I'm totally following what you are saying about the 360 controller. I used to have the same problem. Also, going back and forth between the PS3 and 360 controllers every time I switched systems to play MvC3 wasn't helping either, so I bought the converter in the link below and now I use the PS3 controller whenever I play MvC3 on either system. It works great... 

Buy it on eBay... 

PS. The only trick is that every time you switch systems, you have to connect it first and then turn on the system or it won't work. You can't connect it while the system is turned on... 

PSS. I hate the fighting stick unless is glued or screwed into something. I can't play with it in my lap...

You just take the face off a controller you got and swap it for this. Notice the D-Buttons, not a rocker. Works with any standard OEM 360 controller.

Mah Birthday is coming up and I am totally going in th PS3 controller direction. The reason why I got back on last night was because I was so completely mad about my controller and I wanted to see what would happen if I switched to the D-Pad. It felt so much better but noticed how often I missed my D,F,PP Hyper from the right side, especially with the easy Hulk S into the ground. Also noticed how perfectly my blocking was working too. Thank Manolo, I feel like I'm going to be much happier!

@ G-Lux, can you find a link to purchase that thing?!

Edit: Found it G, I expect I'm getting one for my B-day, as well as a PS3 controller converter.
