exactly. i dont think any gaming company can put together 10 new characters and new game modes that fast. it was already i production when we bought mvc3

and if jill and shuma will be available in umvc3 why did they make ppl pay $5 each for them. they were both already on the disc to begin with

ok let me sum this up as how Crapcom gets into wallets the easy way.

ssf4 ae.. if we say fighters cost 5 bucks a pop then i should have spent 20 dollars on the 4 new characers, 5 more dollars on some new mechanics in gameplay and 5 more bucks on additional outfits, 5 more bucks on new play modes and 5 dollars just for any other stuff added for the heck out it. thats 40 right there. but wait...i only spent...14 bucks. so i got a bargin. odd?

now if we say MVC3 characters for dlc or if saying they add 8 more characters in for dlc lets say, thas 40 bucks, plus another 5 for gameplay mechanics and another 5 for a dlc outfits pack. thats 50 smacks. thats not including any pricing for other "NEW" features they will add.

i got more for my buck with AE for 14 bucks showing there really isnt a standard pricing for characters and such. they charge whatever they wanna charge. but i got a huge update for 14 bucks not a whole new game. UMvc3 isnt a new game by far. its an Updated on disc. and they charge 40 for same type deal for a disc that they did cheaper on dlc. they know how to get in yo pockets!

i got ssf4 on discount for 40 bucks and after all the stuff updaed and added i spent well 60 bucks. for mvc3 i will have spent 60 for an incomplete lite game but then turn around and spent 100 for an additional 40 bucks and thats not even including any extras i might personally want. Capcom is rolling in Moolah!

I was thinking again not only is the dlc worth less than $20 cause it's less than 50% of the game but the original price of MvC3 has been depreciated well below half it's cost.

I don't know if this makes sense to folks the way i'm wording it. but the main reason this deal isn't a "deal" for those who have the game is because it IS a deal for those who haven't got the game. Now if we could buy the new content on an expansion disc like Undead Redemption, for the same price the new people are paying then yeah it'd be a cool. But since we can't it's more of an insult to us, sense if they told us from the get go when they knew they were going to do this we could've just waited and not only got a discount on the game but extra content too.

It'd probably even be different if they had released UMvC3 as a expansion disc with only the new content for $40 cause it'd mean that we didn't waste out money by buying the game early and everybody else still had to pay what we paid. Arguments could still be made about the modes should've already been in the initial game but it'd feel

less like a middle finger.

And the whole "if u don't like it don't buy it" stict is null because we already bought the game for almost twice it's new cost with less content.

And I hate it for folks who may have bout the game within the past few weeks. It's crazy how the more i think about it it the more i find wrong with this whole mess.

Virgil, Doc Strange, Ghost Rider, and Nemesis do peak my interests though. and I know Phoenix Write is popular but a fighting game really? I know it's questionable that most of the current cast ever stand a chance against Galactus but Wright? really?

not knocking him though, I just find it peculiar/interesting

I still think it's messed up about MegaMan, wasn't Captain Commando the old mascot? looks like he's going away with him. Captain Commando would've been cool.

well i guess with Nova in that kills any ms marvel hopes. bahhhhh! then again, its capcom we are talking about. anything can happen.

but i am feeling like i will start holding off on fighting games pre ordering especially from capcom if they going this route. it takes away the feel and joy of getting it preordered ( or so called new) if they not even giving me anything full benefit . So when sf x tekken his imma hold ou tillmits been a few months and see whats up.

I cant waitm to see new screens and or vids of the new umvc3 characters in moion especially. see what kinds of moves phoenix, nova and uhhggg the dang raccoon have.

The only ones I'd be concerned with are the Capcom ones. Unless they come out with Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Mortal Kombat.

man as far as phoenix wright goes, i am just boggled by what his movelist will be. other than this "Objection Shockwave " move i just read might be implemented for a hyper for him. i mean what else could he do as a verifiable fighter....against Galactus?

i aint really that surprised they aint on there tho.but i think they would have been on there in the lower tier votes. Capcom making huge waves right now. if i have any complaint on sega its majorly VF5 final showdown not coming here for 360...yet. thats about it for me. but ehhh we will see on that one later.

add to that man Crapcom UMVC3 needs better dang endings! i hate all those endings and leave me wondering , wtf does any of the stuff they doing in them have to do with the story plot?

. all the money i shell out for the game and i get watercolor comic book style ending that have almost nothing to do with the story. big let down for completing the game with characters.

He has a blue aura and blank eye.
I think, he charge its power, for make more damage, and perform a Shin Hadoken (not Shinku)

I think its a play on the mode you could go into in street fighter alpha, but I forget what that mode was called.

Edit: Apparently it was called the custom combo, basically in street fighter alpha 2 if you had a super meter and you pushed two buttons at the same time you would turn blue and your combo potential would shoot through the roof.
