Yeah but even then, an artbook isn't so great :/ , i mean it's probably just going to sit around a catch dust XD

i tried playing with sentinel for a while and spamming the hell out of him to see how people get around it but i dont think i learned anything cuz i expected sentinel to be easy to use but man was i wrong. Even an air combo proves HARD.

Any bnb combo suggestions SIC?

I think the missions mode for Sentinel really gives a good tutorial for him. Rocket punch for OTG to continue the combo, skip LP when doing an air combo with him, crouch his normal combos, and in general delay the timing on your ground combos, that's all I remember. I played with him last night so I could beat arcade mode with him and get him out the way. I have no intentions to use him again. I find him too easy to kill using the chip damage chars who can just chip through the armor (e.g. X-23).

Hey, I love being competitive. I still go out it with Sic1, even though I usually win only 5 matches out of 20, and even though he plays very tactical, at least he doesn't use helpers and doesn't change characters much. It's that frickin' Sentinel and his super armor, ultra massive damage, and ridiculously long reach. You make one mistake and let him hit you once, and you lose your character, because he will go into a simple 7 or 8 hit combo chained into a hyper that will drain your entire life, but still, he is beatable.

Now Justin Wong and EG Marn, they play the keep away game with helpers and are very patient to look for an opening and when they do find it, they are devastating, because most of the time you will be caught in a massive combo or in the receiving end of an infinite.

They play a combination of spamming and infinite chasing. It's the spamming and infinites I hate...

have not been able to enjoy this game recently. in ranked match i've only been running into spammers. just had a match which i hate to admit i rage quieted bcause this guy ONLY used dormamu's black hole and that pillar crap thats like black heart's ice and and when i got close i got hit with that arrow thing that launches u across the screen. all this while he's spamming sentinel assist -___-

in my short mvc3 experience ive seen a slow decrease in spamming, what i see a lot more now is easy combo starter characters to get a hit-instant launch-switch-switch-super-super-super.

Hell they wont even try to land a full air combo before the switch, its usually paired with full screen supers or beam supers to make it even easier, i cant deny the effectiveness as this super noob combo will easily deal 600-800 dmg while getting good power bars for the switches but just as spamming it will only get so far as it involves no real learning.

As for me ive been practicing with hulk and dante, especially OTGs, im almost capale of a 100% trusty combo with 1 super bar using those 2 but not quite there yet.
