AWWW MAN WHO YOU TELLIN ABOUT THAT HOMIE! ITS CRAZY CAUSE AT TIMES THE CPU BE DUMB AS HECK AND FALL FOR IT AND ALOT OF TIMES THO..NADA, SOON AS YOU PUT THAT ON , EITHER ONE, THE CPU GETS SMART AND PLAYS KEEP AWAY.

sorry for the caps.

. but its those moves that i want to master fully so i can utilize Dormammu at full potential, but its def catching people at the right moment and with all the insane speed of the fight that nailing it just in time will be tricky.

Lol, yeah. I played a ranked today (16-1), Cap, Task, and Wolvy versus some dude (13-4) using Amaterasu, Akuma, and Sentinel.

So he starts out spamming Cold Star, and only cold star. Once I figured out all his wins were from spamming, it was easy to eradicate him, decimate him, eviscerate him, completely, utterly, without mercy, without remorse.

He deserved it, every last bit of it.

ahh spammers. reminds me of one of the 2 ranked matches i played where the guy had Super Skrull Dante and Deadpool and tried to spam Tenderizer and Infinite strike. needless to say, the Nexus pulverized them mercilessly until he rage quit. Never mess with the Nexus

How does the system handle rage quiting? Does anyone get a win or loss from it, is it recorded anywhere?

Unfortunately no one wins because of someone rage quitting, nor does the rage quitter lose. However, I read in a couple of places that MvC3 does keep track of frequent rage quitters, and if it is done often enough, the rage quitters will be placed in a group all their own meaning they will eventually only face other rage quitters which may very well create a vicious cycle where they can't enjoy playing online because either they quit or their opponent does every time one of them is about to lose.

I can't wait to use Gorath. He looks awesome, especially his silver version. I've been looking for someone to round out my set-in-stone team of Trish, Morrigan, & ? ? ?. Spider-man is currently on team (he replaced Wesker), but looking at Gorath's gameplay footage, I think he would serve a great purpose.

Plus, I've enjoyed using him in MvC2, so that counts for something too.

yeah those Rage quitters need a spot of they own to rage quit on each other.

by chance that means someone is costantly looking at all the matches so they can decide who the rage quiters are and make sure they have they own lobby and cant logg into anyones elses. now that right there is awesome indeed. i wonder if hey will do that for SSF4 and any other fighting games online.

OMG YUNo, Jill teamed with wesker? speed beastly right there. thats a team i would pick, then i have a solution even better for Mano and his zip zappin wesker i have heard about .

as for Shuma, ahhh i look a him as a novelty character like Amingo....errr...wait... Amingo isnt in this i hope!

FINALLY someone that actually like him.

He was on my eventual team in MVC2 (in fact, pretty sure he was my best character...) I CANNOT wait to play as him in MVC3.

Since the characters call out each others' names whenever they switch, do you think that the polls are going to have an affect on who goes into the game? It may be difficult to have all of the voice actors come back to record lines for characters that weren't originally planned to be in. It might be seen as a waste of time to come in just to record a name. I was thinking about that the other day. It might work out though.

Well there are the names, the intros, not to mention special intros, the special attacks, normal attacks, taunts, supers, so it isn't just one name they would need to do recordings for.

I was meaning everyone else. The voices of the characters already in the game plus the announcer. They'd have to come back and record new stuff since characters chosen off of a fan poll wouldn't necessarily already be implemented into the game in any way right now unless they were already planned by Capcom to be DLC. It might be tough to get them all together again just to record special lines for the new DLC characters. That's why I think Capcom already has the DLC characters ready to go and has already recorded the lines and names needed from the other voice actors (Ryu, Dante, Thor, etc.) to easily include the DLC characters into the game at their set dates.
