Doesn't sound like Pat Ja Lee which is odd considering she's voicing Jill in Revelations. Why get a new, younger sounding voice actress?

Hmmm, I'm not sure what to make of it. Mainly because I hate what they did to Jill in RE5, I did however love her BSAA look. Her gameplay looks...generic..? Like a cross between X-23 and Wesker.

Honestly, I'm not impressed. And to think they didn't include Ghost Rider and Black Panther for being 'too punchy' yet they allow a generic fast female character. That's why I liked Trish's inclusion, at least she has a unique moveset

yeah it does
i didn't finish re5 since i didn't like it so i don't know whats up with jill. her design is weird with her posture like that, and what is that thing in her chest? i don't understand why they didn't just put her mvc2 moveset with tweaks to fit the new control system like they did with all the other characters that were inmvc2 and are in this game

RE5 jill makes a lot of sense in this game, is more recent which capcom has said is what they want with most characters in MVC3 and brings a more interesting moveset since we have plenty of weapon based characters, her only cotribution would be the zombie helpers.

I do understand old school fans not liking her from the get go but forget what jill is supposed to be and at least watch RE5 cutscenes people, it certainly feels like a step up from yet another tough-soldier-chick.

Spoilers for RE5

Basically Wesker captures Jill when they have their little scuffle and fall out a window. He begins experimenting on her as he wants Chris to have to face Jill/see her zombied etc. However Wesker finds T-Virus antibodies in her (from when she got infected and cured in RE3) and she proves to be what he needs for Uroborous. He keeps her around, gives her a serum similar to the one he has and places her under his control (notice the device on her chest) which also turns her hair blond. Hence RE5 Jill.

Personally I would have loved to have seen BSAA Jill as I really, really don't like Nina Jill and BSAA is my favourite design, more so than STARS Jill. Like I said, her gameplay is generic.
In fact RE5 really didn't sit right with me for several reasons. Now don't get me wrong, I love RE, especially REmake on the GC, but they messed up many characters and the gameplay strayed way too far from the original. Even RE4 had survival elements. But moving on as this is the MVC3 topic.

They couldn't even get Patricia Ja Lee to voice her, which would have made it better. Heck, she voices her in RE:UC, RE5 and RE:Revelations. To me nothing reminiscent of Jill is her. They even removed the emotion from Sad but True for her theme in this game.

Good argument and I agree. I'd much rather have the BSAA suit and the moveset should be similar to her previous one (with minor alterations of course)

i dont have my dang net live on 360 up yet! $\-/o$ $\-/o$ i spent 12 hours in the training danger room yesterday after doing 4 hours of sprite editing and a lil code try out. Man this game was ok at first when i just bought it and loaded it up and went straight to the game itself, i felt this was like a rip off!!!! i couldnt do crap with the buttons layout.. then i got bored and passed out. i woke up 2 hours later, started playin and man i was on fire!! i got 4 unlockables easy but then after that, Galactus started doling all kinds of crazy anus moves he didnt before and now i am gettin a cosmic beatdown.
