a matter of playstyles, i got a stick but not because i consider it superior but because i want an arcade experience out of my fighting games. At this point i still suck less with my ps3 controller than i do with the stick.

But why is it even necessary? it just makes this game even more unbalanced than it already is.

I believe the main purpose of the X Factor is to keep the game moving, if you miss a hyper, rather than sitting it out you can cancel out, it also charges up so you can do more with the match. I think it's a good addition.

Also, I think some people are having issues with the 100% combos. You have to remember even a 100% combo only takes 1/3 of your total life (since you still have two other fighters left). A lot of us are really comfortable with the mugen setting where a 100% combo programed into a char would mean cheap and that would end the match but MvC3 (and 2 for that matter) is a 3 on 3 system so bigger combos work.

I agree with ya there 100%. They're totally not worth the money.. not even what they're used for. Basically people will buy them and use them if they plan on entering tournaments or if they have played fighting games for a while and take them seriously. That's all it is.. and I honestly dont think it's worth the price.

You don't need a fightstick to go to a tourney, you can go play with a pad. It's worth the money if you can't play on a controller. Of course if you've been playing on a controller for so long you won't be good on a stick right away.
