So Norman being the biggest entity in Marvel for over a year doesnt constitute him as being relevant.
 

Norman may be popular, but didn't one guy in this thread even say that Norman isn't currently Goblin?  Then again, Marvel's recent writing has been so hard to follow, I wouldn't be surprised if I'm mistaken.

MvC is an AU anyways. It's entirely possible for the MvC Norman to still be Goblin.

i don't think goblin would be that great of a character. he's on a glider and throws bombs and other projectiles. i don't see how fun that could be just sounds silly to me now if he was a grounded character that could have a flight mode with the glider like sentinel that would be a different story

Norman is goblin but hes incarcerated so i think thats what spidermew meant by not currently goblin. but like i also said there are dead characters on the roster (spencer,wesker) so im sure something like incarceration wouldnt stop a character from getting implemented.

He issued a statement on his deviant art blog claiming that he is being "FALSELY accused of something." I hardly think that the original statements were accusatory, as they read "...Enter these scans from the alleged upcoming Marvel vs Capcom comic book. As you can see, Galactus and Taskmaster are confirmed if these scans are to be believed. They are said to be from the artist (Kevin Sharpe)..." but obviously, Kevin has been feeling the heat from these events over the past few days. The word alleged does in fact carry a "may or may not" connotation, as Kevin repeatedly used the phrase above.

Kevin said, "FOR THE RECORD, DEVIANT ART is my ONLY website and I DID NOT LEAK ANY ART. PERIOD! I cannot comment on this any further than to say that false reports hurt people and things like this can hurt the people I work for, disuades future potential employers, and hurts reputations. I try to build good reps with Editors and things like false allegations have serious repercussions and can damage careers."

According to this cached image of the original website where the comic book scans appeared, Rob Stull is the owner of the page and uploader of the works. He is said to be the inker on the comic project. All of this drama seems to make the alleged leak appear more legitimate, but we certainly and genuinely hope no one loses any jobs over it. We just love video games.

Right because A) were going to take an amaglam character from a dead story arc that no longer exists nor is relevant put it in a high profile game and B) Have a character that looks exatly like another when thats what theyve been trying to avoid the whole time.

I think we only need four more characters till we have a full roster.

Final build has 40, 30 been released (not counting DLC) plus the 6 rumored ones (Sentinel, Jean, Taskmaster, Akuma, Haggar, and that other guy who's name I forgot) meaning we have four more characters to look out for
