i'm pretty sure she is, when they first started doing pre-orders at gamestop for it i remember they had a small MvC3 poster by the registers that had c.viper in it, along wit chun-li, sakura, wolvie, chris, morrigan, and capt.America

I honestly doubt Dio Brando and Scrooge McDuck would be in this game, if they were going to use any duck based character from disney, it should be Darkwing Duck or Gizmoduck. The DW game and the Ducktales games were made by capcom, and disney does own marvel now, but i think thats just a rumor and not true.
Dazzler? They havnt used her for anything in ages!! Squirrel Girl, probably be funny, but super cheep and people would ban her for being so cheep.

 it was not a silhouette, it was her actual pic with the same type of artwork u see in  the current ads
maybe at the time they did not have any of the roster set in stone(after all this was during the summer) but i know what i saw

I f**k*** LOVE the fact that Viper is in. I've recently been trying to main her in SSF4, and she looks fun to play as in MvC3.

While I do like Juri, I don't think her moveset is good for MvC3. Vipers moves look right at home in MvC3, and the best fitting out of the new SSF4 cast. Looks like I found my first team character.
