Eh... Gambit's cool and all, but if it means getting a new character, I guess it's cool with me.

Also, before NYCC, Seth Killian had said that there's a certain unrevealed character on the Marvel side that's the craziest thing ever put into a Capcom fighter, and that it was "mind melting." Many people pretty much came to the conclusion that MODOK was that character. However... in this interview (Skip to 8:37) he says that MODOK isn't the character he was talking about, and that they're still unrevealed.



So there's a character on the Marvel side that's even more WTF worthy than MODOK. This roster is going to be interesting, to say the least.

*He even more out there and bizarre than MODOK (which is quite an accomplishment)

But yeh i hope this Character unrevealed is Either The Sentinel Or Ultron. I called it heavy with  X 23 for the ladies. Hopefully my guess is right again.





As for Spencer i think they could at least Let you have the alternate look of Re armed. The sequel is coming out for that game. The nes Retro look would have been cool too but hey The re armed is more close to the vibe he was talking about. That BC game with the dreads versions wasnt even a heavy hit. Re armed was. but anyway at least Bionic commando is in it. so thats hot. Im liking MVC3 more now since 3 of my wishes of chars came true. Wesker, Spencer & Dante. So thats hot. I wanted Dead pool too since MVC2 but those 3 were the main. so ill be gettin this also. Capcom is on point!

If they put sentinel in, he should be the last charecter be rvealed.

I think his trailer would go a bit like this:

ALL the other charecters are fighting, Kinda like the MK: Armageddon intro. then, A huge figure  falls down from the sky making a huge smoking crator.

All the other charecter stopp fighting and look at the crator, they then all look really shocked and terrified. Snetinel then proceed  to shoot a rocket punch at like wolverine, taking him out. (still uses voice clips from MVC2 "rocket Punch")

Screen then goes blank and you just hear the charecters screan there get hit and knockout sounds, coupled with sentinel clips like "Neutralise" and "rocket punch" and the of effect sound effects.

the MVC3 logo slowy appears on screen and the trailer ends.

That'd be hilarious.

If people don't understand why this is funny, it's cause sentinel was the best charecter in MVC2. I once read that (Proffessional) MVC2 is Basicly trying to keep your sentinel alive while trying to kill your opponents.

Hmmmm...since things with this game keep changing from when it was first announced earlier this summer, I reserve all comments or contradiction that I may have wanted to make on the last couple of pages worth of posts. I blame this on the fact that the game was announced almost a whole year before it is even due out in stores. I'm a little confident that Capcom will do as they do best and delay the game near supposed release and it'll come out close to the anniversary point it was announced this year. Anyway, as a Gambit fan (my personal fave X-men member) it sucks if he has indeed been deconfirmed as I do believe that he had a story plot in X-men recently (if someone has been able to keep up with X-men in the last like year or so...since about the middle of Dark Reign can you correct me if I'm wrong here) dealing with the affects of the Apocalypse/Death symptoms popping up now and again. But, if they were gonna leave him as he was in MvC2 then I'm a little glad they left him out. They could have do so much more with Gambit in MvC2...just look at some of the Gambits that have been made for Mugen lately...these are things that could have been if more time could have been spent on character like Gambit in MvC2, but I digress. I'm thinking that maybe no Sentinel if the comics have any implication on their appearance in the roster as Sentinels haven't really been around in X-men comics in about a year or 2 IIRC. Anyway, I'm liking the roster so far, even though not a fan of M.O.D.O.K. in fact he's probably the only character I have disagreed with on the entire roster so far...though I guess what was said originally about he roster being 30% new characters and 70% returning cast is now deconfirmed as well.

so far, MVC3 has really got my attention big time from the start and never faded. Now we got 4 more and they nseem really good, ok even Modok seems aight, i will try him out too. what i dont see so far is the huge size characters like juggy and sentinel.  Still early so juggs might make an appearance and as for sentinel, they might go with another design say... Nimrod or Bastion? As for the crazy new character they wanna release, my bet it coulld be howard the duck , but... ya know marvel has so many crazy misfit characters so who knows really who it is. i still bettin on howard. 50/50 chance.
Trust tho, from the game characters they have so far , i already got me at least 3 teams to go all out with:

1. deadpool-magneto- ryu
2. amaterasu - dante - wesker
3. spider man - x-26 - chris
and yeah a 4th team , sorry guys i am gonna have to do this but
4. dormammu, doom and magneto

I don't understand why that game didn't do as hot as Bionic Commando:Rearmed. I actually loved the 3d Bionic Commando, and I think the people who thought it was terrible sucked playing it. There was indeed a learning curve in-regards to swinging, but once you learned to do that, the game was fantastic! As a matter of fact, I play that game more than I play Batman: Arkum Asylum (which I already uninstalled off my pc).

I still think capcom needs more villians on their side. It seems all of the major threats are from Marvel. They should add Nobunaga Oda: the Demon King from Onimusha.  He could have 2 forms, his human and demon form.

yeh i think it was a mix of things with that whole 3D Bc game. Anyway It was a good lookin 3D Bc game in general.



But these characters i was hoping also made it to MVC3. The onimusha chars are definitely a great fit though.

ya know Kai, i never ever played choas legion before. is it any good by chance? loving the way the characters look and if they beasts like dormammu and co. then i say capcom crazy if not using them cause he only powerhouse they got is..well dante and amaterasu...wesker too but they not on dormammu, mags, super skrull, dr doom and heck evem thor scale. i mean capcom need some powerhouse killers yall!

Yeh the game was actually cool when it came out. Pretty damn tough though. it was like playing Jojos bizzare adv with a bunch of stands fighting for you along with your own powers. The music score was Bad @ss. its somethin you have to try out for yourself hands on to see what i mean. You level up your Legions for more powers. theres a chick in the game too thats like  DMC char with guns. The game should get a sequel er somethin if u ask me.

But yeh MVC3 could use one of those guys from Chaos legion. I see already either those two on the team along with Wesker AND Dante?? Jeezus man...thats a problem. especially if You can use all your Legions even the ultimate legion as your super.

  Chaos Legion was absolutely great, but very repetitive and harder than most games I've played. I was never able to beat the last stage since I apparently didn't level up as much as needed and couldn't go back to do so. 

So I was stuck trying to beat impossible legion odds with my weaker character or start from the beginning. 

At that point I decided to call it quits and play something else...

Each character has an alternate costume, which only affects their appearance, it doesn't affect how they fight:

Hulk - Grey Hulk
Wolverine - X-Force Uniform
Spider-Man - Venom Symbiote Suit, Iron Spider Armor, Neon Green Suit
Iron Man - War Machine and Movie Mark II Colors
Deadpool - X-Men color
Chun-Li - A red version of her outfit.
Amaterasu - Black and Gray fur pattern.
Wesker - White version of his outfit.
Sir Arthur - Boxers changed to white with a blue stripe.
Spencer - Red version of his outfit.
MODOK - Alternately colored MODOK.
Ryu - Black version of his outfit.
