i think that is kinda the case as well. But i do wonder in the case of the new dante. even tho i kinda do like the new Emo look he has ( its like he is the younger version of the gothy dante cool we all come to know and love) i wonder if his artist creator worked for capcom and not with as a sideline sepereate outside artist. cause i do know if you work for a company they do retain rights for any characters made within the company for merchandising via games or any other format unless licensed out.  now if your an outside sourced artist then i do think you retain half rights for characters and if the company uses any likeness from him you recieve benefits ( royalty money). My question i guess being is did the guy who drew and creaed dante for capcom said ok to redesinging him wether be a younger version or alternate redone version or did capcom just took and rolled? It seems kinda like the Spawn lawsuit thing that had went on. so i am just wondering.

Strider was set to be included in Fighting All-Stars so why not here in MvC?

As for Dante...that looks (if you look at the trailer) to be a pretty good possibility. I actually think if it ends up a good game, it will be...good.

But that is for another topic.

i guess its just something i enjoy doing. i love a good topic and discussion so i can ask good questions, review feedbacks and read other peoples thoughts on subjects and of course, write my essay comment. . future refference tho, for space i will try to keep my replies a lil shorter.


on topic : So does anyone know when capcom will start releasing new info and character releases. seems they just been doing it at shows, but are there anymore shows left that get done this later in the quarter?

I read the article. well i guess its ok cause its an actual option. just one of the modes. i raher play on normal than simple mode but i guess it will draw in gamers who suck at fighting games. capcom trying to get all they can and bring new players to become fans. one thing that bothers me is , will this be an option in online play? cause if so then hmmm i might not wanna play online. but if i am really good at it then i guess it shouldnt bother me but yeah i still say keep that mode offline use only.

Which actually almost ruined those games for me... It's called learn to play the game, and not be a douche and use simple mode...

I'm gonna really hate the douches using simple mode, and they better not even try to tell me they're good because they're using that crappy mode.

Simple mode will restrict the moveset a lot, so I don't see a problem. Also, I really doubt someone who knows how to play the game will choose that mode, it's more like "Hey, it's the first time I play fighting games!". Here's a quick vid about it, with some interesting comments.

well now after actually hearing from a big wig company guy i can give better thoughts about the game. Simple mode def is designed for people to wanna get into fighting games and easier way of play. at least simple mode restricts  and peeps cant do all the moves. that i like.  Now i do say thats a mode that should NOT be in tournament play and online play, just offline use only.  hey good find too, i read somewhere a lil about it but this kinda clears things up a tad.

This is the same EXACT simple mode that is in Tatsunoko vs Capcom. I am not against these simple modes at all. I actually like them ive gotten people into fighting games that would never have tried were it not for tvc simple mode. Thee modes have very limited movesets and are nothing to be feared. If any one thinks they could get beat by someone using simple mode maybe they themselves need to try it out.

Its included in blazblues and tvc's online. Theres really no way to filter control schemes. I assure you figuring out how to rush down Deadpools OP herp derp keepaway will most certainly be your biggest worry online.
