Yes the combat system the buttons and all that are completely different so you cant really approach it like mvc2 but the concepts systems and all that are very mvc2 in the same vein.

thats great for my Captain America and Chun-Li, going to be bad for my Magneto (Together they form the MvC2 Nexus, the greatest team in the history of crossovers. )

No, no story it was all fightclub. we do know that the fantastic 4 will be a big part of the story and that Dormammu is the final boss so the rest is anyones guess.

The controls were A,B,C,E,As1,As2/ Honestly i could like this better than mvc2's but its just not familiar to me due to the series obviously working differently. despite E being described as a launch button, the E button has its uses as a jump in or air to air move . Tag was hold down assist for the character you want to tag, tagging is safer in this game but i still like to cover my butt and dhc out. x factor works like a roman or a rapid cancel and is activated by pressing a+b+c+e. you can exchange your characters mid air combo by hittin qcf+E howeve this can be techd by you opponnent hitting E at the same time as you.

Well this is pure speculation but for some odd reason some mysterious dude was at the event handing out Final Fight Double Impact coins to a few random people. my friend got one and showed it to me on one side was an amazon from Magic sword but on the other side it was none other than.......

The music is a major turn off from the game for me. I liked the random jazz songs they had in MvC2 and each stage had a them instead of each character. but all they seem to be doing is taking MvC 1 themes and putting auto-tuney/techno remixes to them

The problem with Character Themes vs Stage Themes is that a stage theme can fit the setting and give a stage a specific mood, while a character theme could be completely out of place in a certain backdrop. In order to create character themes that don't drastically hamper the entertainment value of the stages, the music has to be generic sounding enough that it won't feel out of place anywhere.

funny thing about what you said is usually after a while that stuff just eases its way in and grows on you. You may hate it at first but after a while its like eh aw well ..

Example: Marvel Vs Capcom 2 music

cmon dont front most of here when we all heard the music all thought it sucked for that kind of game play and said it was too jazzy ..
there was only 2 BGM stage music i liked. The last masters and it was the other one i think for that pirate stage at night..haha
..The "I wanna take you for i ride" theme...i hated that music Compared to the past MVC games but ending up humming it at times like a clown anyway. i actually was hoping that was just a USA change but the import maybe was different. Nope!

the character change theme was yet another nod to tvc , at least the first version. i may annoy some it may annoy none, but still looking forward for this to drop in my lap next year!!
