Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3

lando: The problem is most of those characters aren't popular. One character would be perfect, Emma Frost, but that hope is dead. Jean is another idea, but not heavily popular (but probably the best chance after Storm or Rogue).

Characters that aren't popular aren't as marketable. Now presenting...Albert (Wolverine robotic clone)! Isn't very exciting, especially compared to showing off a brand new super popular character like Deadpool or Wolverine.


Also a prediction: DLC of 'Classic' Characters, as in if they don't put in, say, Magneto, Sentinel, etc. they can be added as DLC.

I read ya sanji, but i still cant agree fully. As a die hard fighting game fan for like ....wow over 20 years and been reading comics for 30 years, i dont know , i think and i say i  believe, that its when you put characters in the forefront more and give them exposure then they can become "popular' by cosumer standards. ok frank west, yeah i know who he is cause i got the game, i hate the game but i know who he is. He shined to me more on TVC than dead rising.  these marvel guys and gals i listed are known but just not by this new more based on who's who popular generation.  MVC3 has the potentail to attract not only new fans of the game but also more fans of other marvel characters. i sure will get tired of seeing the same people in mvc4 as in mvcs3 and so on. add some new peeps not but enuff. same said for capcom as i am hearing so many requests for choas legion. heck i dont know anyone from that game and never played it but if they are introduced in then i might wanna see what they all about from their mother game. As for albert he would be just another wolverine thats all and he is essenial is wolverine in robot. so that wouldnt even make any sense to add him. no diversity. I can agree to add some of them as secret or even as dlc if possible. But the keyword for me in MVc3 is DIVERSITY. i want some difference, shake things up. heck even if folks think dormammu is a optional swap of blackheart, its the fact that its dormammu and not blackheart himself. but nevertherless i will still buy the game and enjoy playing.

yeah i can understand that. plus to see albert in a fighting game and see how he actually would fight is a whole different story too than still pages of a comic book. Like they would have to or should make him play according to his bulky style that differes from wolverine. hmmm just like the whole dormammu /blackheart i mentioned. thats kinda where i was angling tho , diversity even tho the former is an exchange for the latter. but yeah albert might not work. good example ya gave.

Karolina from the Runaways would be a cool female from Marvel's side... She's a visual splendor and her playstyle would be different from other things, IMO.

i really hope they reveal spidey now tht shattered dimensions has been released i been waitin for him since i first heard bout this game nd she would be kins KewL i think scarlet witch would be awesome to and for those of yuhh who dnt kno her shes the daughter of magneto and her mutant power can make the impropapble probable and the probable improbable she can basically control the outcom of a situation that would be real diverse and new for the game

Hands down Chaos legion characters would do well in MVC3. i think they are made for that sorta thing if u ask me. spend an hour or two playing C.L. and youll see. All  Sieg Warheit is (the main char in Chaos legion) at full lvl power with his legions combined is Jotaro from jojos Bizzare adventure with his stand & zappa from GGXX combined in some wierd hellish way on a DMC lvl:-??
well thats if they do em right for MVC3 if he ever made it that is

Really hope they get the Sentry in on this. He is a major Marvel character and all.

Gamers have been speculating that the new games could include sequels such as Resident Evil 6 or Megaman Legends 3, but there's barely any solid facts to base those claims on. As for the MvC3 characters, it's highly likely that Tron Bonne will be officially revealed since she appeared in a recent trailer for the game, and it's also possible that Frank West of Dead Rising fame may be revealed since his silhouette was spotted in early trailers. Who knows, maybe Marvel will finally allow Capcom to go ahead and reveal Spider-Man's presence in the roster now that it won't be able to interfere with Activision's marketing campaign for Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions.

No matter what happens, Capcom fans are going to be in for a treat.

i see yun0, but no matter what a twitter post says and its still not giving concrete yeah he IS in he game. still whoever that is is saying he could be in cause of a slhouette shown in an earlier trailer. i say SHOW ME FRANK! i wanna see the dude ya know. forget a shadow.  Its all a guessing game until revealed in the flesh.  i liked his gameplay in TVC and if they bring him back "for certain" then i want to see some of those moves he had with maybe some additionals or better ones. he looks awesome! but i am not gonna swear him in yet till capcom brings the dude out . Guessing and nhoping and wishlisting is whats making this all the more fun, wild and imaginitive.

Wesker is the most likely though and in terms of a moveset Jill could either go the Chris route, or the Frank West route. Or if they go with Battlesuit Jill they could go the Cammy/what I assume Black Widow would play as route. However, as much as I love Jill, I'd prefer original movesets that add something new. And the Capcom side has way too many females already!

Once again, I don't see anyone on capcoms current side that I'm truly ecstatic for (except for Dante). Bring in some more heavy hitters capcom.

Once again it has been confirmed that there will be 1 Re villain and 1 Sf villain. the Re villain will be Wesker (my bet) or Krauser (no zombie villains and those are the only human re villains) and sf has a good number of villains but its likely gonna be juri, seth, or bison.

...... what? Are you taking about alpha bison vs. SF2-4 bison, in which case, the moves sets are different.

But Regardless he was in every vs. game except the original MVC.
