I just saw the video on the front page and I'm definately looking foward to this game. The final scene still screams Dormammu, and it would make sense if it was him-and I wonder will Dr.Strange himself will be in it or just be some background character.

I'll have to check this out when E3 comes on.

I'd love to see Galactus, but he travels in a giant spaceship (big even for him). He doesn't pop out of portals any more than any of the other characters. I doubt it's Dormammu, since he's shown as a silhouette on the poster, and Capcom has never shown the last boss on any of their Vs game posters (as far as I remember). Not sure who it could be, but I doubt they'd make it that easy to guess.

I'm secretly hoping it really is Galactus though.

But if you watch the Doctor Strange cartoon movie they did recently, you would see the same firevortex in the sky and, bam its Dormammu. Even if he's not a boss, and he's some how a normal character, im sure its still going to be him.

I still think that's Dormammu, but I'm pretty sure about it now thanks due to the podcast:
Jonathan Holmes: Just finished the podcast with Seth Killian, asked him about Dormammu specifically. He said something along the lines of "When I was a kid, the only comics that the local store sold was Dr Strange and West Coast Avengers. That turned me into a foremost expert on Dr Strange. So yeah, expect the unexpected."

Just a little heads up... MvC3 is allegedly supposed to appear on SpikeTV's Gametrailers show tomorrow, and there's supposedly a new character being revealed.

I'm not exactly sure when it airs, though.

It didn't btw... I guess that new 2-3 character debut teaser is all we get for now...

The Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) is kicking off next week, and we're planning on showing off Marvel Vs Capcom 3 in a big way!

Even though E3 is a huge event, not everybody will be able to go to it. So I'd like to tell you here about some of what we're preparing for the event. When E3 gets underway these things will be released here and there, so be sure to check everything off this list as you come across it! Everything we're going to show off at E3 will be brand new content!

1. Promotional Video
What you've all been waiting for! I hope you will get an appreciation for our dedication to the game when you watch it.

2. Promotional Video Preview
This will be released in the very near future. [Editor's note: This is out now.]

3. 5 Gameplay Videos + ?
We went all out with the characters that will be revealed at E3. The "+ ?" is something we've put together exclusively for our Japanese fans (you'll know why when you see it...).

4. Character Artwork
Of course we'll have artwork for the newly revealed characters. I wonder how many that will be...?

5. Artwork from Shinkiro
Well-known artist Shinkiro (Capcom Vs SNK 2, Tatsunoko Vs Capcom Cross Generation of Heroes, etc) has provided some great new illustrations. He came through for us even though we didn't give him a whole lot of prior notice. You can expect his usual high quality. The artwork will be appearing in various locations around E3.

And finally, we will have a playable version of Marvel Vs Capcom 3 at E3! We wanted to give you a chance to get in some playtime as soon as possible.

Looks like many people have enjoyed trying to figure out just who those shadowy silhouettes are at the beginning of the first promotional video. Has the time come to reveal all the answers? Hmm....
Only a few more days until E3. The wait is almost over!

Note: They're going to have a playable version..... Now I wish I was going... :'(
