So after giving in to the digital take over to get Adult Swim back in my life comast/cartoon network now wants everyone to pay for the channel

. What the hell I don't even pay for hbo and stuff like that and now they want me to pay for CN come one ted turner you can not be that strapped for cash.

So angry and smiley hulk is not here to express my feelings. Man I hope they do something about it

WOah woah..... You have to pay just to watch Cartoon Network or is it just Adult Swim? I tuned to cartoon network right now and they didn't ask me to pay.

BTW Ted Turner isn't involved with CN. Warner Brothers bought it years ago. Around the time they started running Batman TAS, and Justice League. Could be your provider, and not the network.

I know its comcast I just needed to vent. But I'm still upset about it cause I am looking at comcasts premium channels and CN is not listed as one I don't know whats going on

Damn you mew ha. I did not have to pay for the longest but I go to sit down to some tom and jerry for my day off and I get the "to order toon call this number" and I almost dropped my soda all over the place.

Down here in the South you have to pay to watch multiple shows like Cartoon Network, The food Channel,Spike tv, Discovery Channel, Scifi Channel, and much more, but thats only if you have basic cable. If you have basic cable down here, you'll probably have about 20 channels to watch (and none of them are good). But luckily I live in a dorm for now, where the comcast channels are free, and I have most of the channels I want to look at.

That sucks dude, I have Verizon fios and I don't have to pay. Actually I have fios for internet but comcast for TV. I don't pay anything extra. So maybe just your district is doing it.

Yea I'm watching king of the hill right now and Its fully working. I have premium service tho. Can't remember the exact name but we get all the channels. I have fios for the internet (godly speeds!!) and sh*t comcast for TV.

I hate comcast tho, I really do. Only reason why we have not switched is because my mom wants to wait till after the holiday season when people won't be busy. I only turn on the TV during Adult swim anyways.

Actually thats a bad example. Flapjack is meant for toddlers, and the Spongebob age of children. Theres not much a market outside the U.S. unless you count Dora the Explorer as international. I can't see a kid over 10 that should be watching that. It's tolerable for us parents to degree just because it's a tad trippy, and Monty Python esque.

of it) seems that I now have CN back on for free. Ha I guess comcast does not like it when you compare their services to other providers and threaten to switch

but honestly to have to do all that just to get a CN back for free when it already was free is stupid.

personally i dont think spongebob is meant for kids to watch. he does a lot of homo-erotic things

. i remember walking in on an episode of him liking chocolate while twisting his tongue around it and twirling it while wrapping his tongue around it like a garden tool. Plus what does he live in

I think thats because cartoon writers like to hide jokes that they know only adults will get, i know my mom always watched cartoons with me when i was really little. Having something for kids and adults in the show, can help bring familys to hang out togeather.

Very true, just like Robin Williams in Alladin doing nicholson, and other impersonations that no kid will understand, but it's a fun easter egg for the parents.

as for comcast... they better not be tryin to charge for cartoon network as a standalone. hell naw!! my tv dont even budge from that channel. and yes i watch flapjack, chowder, family guy ( ok family guy is definetly not for lil kids) well damn near all the good funny cartoons not that 16 and drama island stuff. yack! i do think some of those cartoons tho are kinds bit risque in a way. i mean flapjack and other cartoon do be having some hidden jokes in there and trust me, kids aint stupid!! comcast only probably doing that since they are the biggest cable network provider in the usa/world. doesnt surprise me in the least but still i think thats a very bad move on their company.
